Also it says 'each time' an opposing character takes damage. so he would heal 1 for each character.
Because if you hit 3 characters, you deal damage 3 times, once to each of them.
And this is an assumption on my part, but it sounds like you treat each character hit by his attack separately, then you could separately choose on each one if you wanted to take the healing.
But to be honest on a 400 point character, I'd think you'd want them to heal.
The way it reads is ignore characters fOr LOS. This means he can hit anyone along the line or adjacent to it. This will reck defend teams.
It also reads that he may heal 1 for each target hit so if he uses that power against 4 figures in a square formation he hits all 4 and can heal up to 4.
If you don't outwit him he will reck your team.

And back to my 3rd question let me try to spell it out...
let's say he's on click 6 and you hit 5 people, but want to end up on click 2. Can you stop on click 2 by choosing not to heal 1 of the 5 clicks of healing?
So by that logic then non of the opposing characters would even get the hindering terrain bonus modifier either?
Correct. It acts like the splash damage from energy explosion.
So anything that requires they be the 'target' of the attack wouldn't' work like shape change and super senses.
At least that's my interpretation.
Edit: Wait...they may get the +1 from hindering. You are making a ranged attack, but them being the target or not has nothing to do with it. So they would still get hindering terrain bonus and ES/D since those only require a ranged attack, not that they be the target necessarily.
Bio Nuclear Blast: Give Nemesis a power action. Draw a straight horizontal or vertical line of fire to any single square within Nemesis's range and line of fire, ignoring other characters for line of fire purposes. make an attack roll as though making a ranged combat attack, and compare the result to each character occupying a square along that line of fire, or a square adjacent to that line of fire but still within his range. Each character hit is dealt 3 damage.
I have problems figuring this line out. What does it mean for a square to be adjacent to a line of fire? Assuming the horizontal or vertical LOF is drawn through the center of a line of squares, the line does not touch any other squares. Unless it means adjacent to the squares along the line of fire, but that's not what's written.
Unless it means adjacent to the squares along the line of fire, but that's not what's written.
That's how I read it. The "line" is the whole line of squares, and any square adjacent to those squares would get hit (provided those squares are within his 8 range).
Each time an opposing character takes damage from an attack by Nemesis or Nemesis' poison, Nemesis may heal 1 damage.
Since it says may heal, I would say if you damage 6 characters, you can choose to heal between 0 and 6 clicks.

This one is more tricky, but I'd say that it doesn't activate stealth. Stealth blocks line of fire drawn to the character with stealth. His power says nothing about drawing a line of fire to any character.
As far as getting the hindering terrain bonus the rule book says that you get the +1 if a line of fire crosses hindering terrain which in this case there is no line of fire drawn to characters so again I don't think they would get the bonus, but I'm not sure on that.
I think the Energy Shield Deflection should activate because the PAC states that you get +2 to your defense against ranged combat attacks. The power states that you are making the attack as though making a ranged combat attack.

Reason: Wanted to add the actual power for quoting. THIS IS AWESOME!!!
Hmm. From the wording of Bio Nuclear Blast, technically, it's not a ranged attack, just that you roll as if you were making a ranged attack. So does that mean the hindering terrain bonus and ES/D don't kick in?
And re: the OP's third question, it seems that the number of clicks you may heal is optional, triggered once for every character damaged. So I would say yes.
The power says "as if making a ranged combat attack", so I think the hindering bonus would apply as would ESD. I do agree that Stealthed characters are toast, though.
Just, IMO, y'know.
May all your hits be crits!
