Hey fellow Canucks! I was wondering if us Canucks could make a thread just for trading buy and selling? Ive been waiting months for stuff from the U.S not to mention no tracking. I would rather trade within Canada for faster processing times. Any ideas?

Sounds like a great idea to me. I'm always a bit nervous sending/receiving outside the country, not to mention the fact that shipping costs/wait times would be greatly reduced. If your idea is approved (which I assume would rely greatly on CANADIAN TRADERS SUPPORTING THIS IDEA ie: replying to this thread!), count me in.

I'll be playing in Edmonton in at least two different venues during release week. So we may be able to meet face to face. I may have some superior stuff from WOS or HOT that you want.

There probably isn't much from the B&B that you would want. But I have plenty of extra stuff.

I hate to be the 'Debbie Downer' in this thread, but I generally shy away from trading to my fellow Canucks. The reason simply being: Canada Post.

Sure, every package you send in Canada has a tracking #, but for the $$$$ we pay, it should not only have a tracking #, but also be about 3x as fast. I can send a small package to the US (from 1-20 clix) for abut $6.00 Airmail. That's to anywhere in the US. (For those that don't know, I'm in Victoria BC) It takes about a week or so to arrive, regardless of if it's going to California, Florida or NY State.

To send that same package in Canada? A minimum of $8.00 just to send with-in BC. Almost $12.00 to send to Alberta, and about $13.00 to send to the East (Ontario anyway). Probably more to send to Quebec and the Maritimes. Plus, it takes just as long to get to it's destination (about a week).

For the most part, I find that shipping in Canada, is simply not worth the extra $$$ I pay in postage. Sad, but true.

My best advice for fellow Canucks that are a little apprehensive about sending to the US is this: make trades with some of the more well established US based traders first, to up your iTrader rating. NoGoCat, Hair10, Tanis11, mr_moneypenny, machienman, psycho69, komixfrk75 etc etc etc are all great traders, as well as great guys.
