Like all good cultists, the Purifier needs a stronger personality to motivate him. Without his demagouge around the Purifier is simply a side of beef. Potentially killer on a big points team with thier deity and some Predator Xs, but otherwise worth a pass.

All Minion generics have some redeeming value, either as team filler/Mastermind fodder, or working in conjunction with a leader (Stryker) and filling a specific function. Point-for-point, the Purifier is the best under-30 point generic Marvel has in Modern Play.

Extremely potent with Stryker except for not being able to do much to figures with damage reducers. 11 attack and Willpower on an under 30 figure is crazy. Easy as heck to pick off from range, though.
