I think his weakness is his comic accuracy and the elimination of the mutant keyword that now forces his powers to say "x-men and brotherhood KW or TA" instead of the word mutant (there are many mutants without a team). To be really playable he should have his pwoers oriented like the predator-x: you choose an objetive, in this case a keyword (after all, he is someone who can move people into hate what he wants them to hate). Maybe it would be less accurate, but he would be playable on more scenarios other than sealed events, and some event dials transformed guys into inaccurate teams like the illuminati.
And please Wizkids, take back the mutant keyword. If Asgardian is an uncommon keyword and let you to make easy teams between good and evil guys from asgard... where is the problem on doing the same with mutants that is a common keyword and now it would be accurate as NEARLY EVERY MUTANT IS LIVING ON THE ISLAND OF UTOPIA!!! They are more allies than what Fire Devil and Thor would ever be!!!!
The Mutant keyword has about 110 or so figures with it. If it wasn't retired, we would be nearer to 150 right now. Sadly, it is a little bit too generic for Marvel. Benefiting from the keywords and TA doesn't really nerf him too much by leaving out the Mutant keyword. He looks like he might be fun, on a specific mutant vs anti-mutant match, but I would probably never field him beyond that. For me, he's too specific for general use.
His late dial outwit is a life saver. With any luck you'll still have a couple of Purifiers next to him so that he can dish out some major damage after Outwitting an opposing character's DV Power. He's certainly not to be overlooked.

Six speed is unfortunate given that the Purifiers don't have a taxi. Unlike Caliban he actually does lose out pretty big if he isn't playing against mutants, although his minions don't. Kind of wish he had Mastermind instead of Toughness, because it's easier to focus him and hurt the Purifiers than I think it should be. Not bad, but very hard to use and more situational than I like.
