He is not Oracle, he is still on the battlefield. He is just gonna stay put, which really is how he usually participates in the books anyhow. Points for better comic accuracy.

I would have loved him more if he had Psychic instead of Scientist as a keyword. Like it is, he's going to be the next broken cheese. Paired him with a bunch of Researchers and any other scientist you can think of (Barry Allen, a pair of SI Spidey, anyone) and he will run the place. Beside that obvious inbalance, he would be more comic-accurate with the Psychic keyword.

I smiled when i opened my booster and magneto and prof X were side by side.

Love this piece. it was a main factor in taking down pheonix in a sealed i had last night. the only problem i have with it is the keywords. no psychic? that's his only mutant power! and he really shouldn't have scientist. the cheese that opens up is of the most foul smelling variety.

just tried this guy tonight, he kicked some serious but, attcking with beast one turn then resting him and attacking with charles next turn through him.

This is not correct. I won't gum up the write-up with the explanation, Check the Rules of Combat Forum if you require more explanation. Onto the fig itself...wow. to be able to use him anywhere on the board as though he was there through a friendly Keyworded Character is awesome. You wouldn't see Charlie X flying around the battlefield trying to do things, he would be doing them from a distance. He's the world's most powerful Telepath after all(so where's the Psychic Keyword??). Plays like a dream helping an X-Men team along, but I fear his nastiest time will be spend with his stat pumping Illuminati brothers.

Prof X makes ranged actions through the other character using Prof X's stats and powers.

This is basically Professor Xavier to a "T". He always stays back on the sidelines, and uses cerebro to communicate with his X-Mean (Or find other mutants for that matter). I think they should have given him shape change, as he can get into someone's mind and make them believe he is someone else, but irregardless, it's the chance to evade an attack. That "in contact with Cerebro power" dumbed down means he is able to attack from a friendly characters square, while staying in your starting area (So he stays back, which is pretty pimp, while he acts through a comrade ~ just think astral plane). I'm assuming he gets the action token, instead of, as per say, Wolverine, for doing a mind control or psychic blast attack. I'm also interested on the ruling of figures with Battle Fury being used to do mind control through (As Xavier couldn't do a mind control action through Wolverine if he had battle fury).

Irregardless, this guy is spot on. He's a juicy target for your opponent though, as he has a total lack of damage reducers and a short dial. I'll go after him everytime, as he isn't as guarded as in contact with oracle/calculator.

@ekearsh537. Prof. X can use any non-Defense power he has targeting an Oppossing unit from any Friendly character sharing a keyword. Instead of attacking from his piece, he can attack/Outwit/Perplex from ANY keyword friendly piece, using their square, not his. Did that help any? - I love this guy. He has fulfilled all of my Researcher-Abuse Team needs beyond my wildest dreams! So, now I can PB for 5 damage from ANY Researcher I can run around the map? Thank you, WizKids. Thank you.

i kinda wish he had the same cerebro power as the M&M one did in addition to the trait, but that might have made him TOO good. i think it might be fun to play both Prof X's if the point total was large enough for it. i gave the sculpt a 1 because AGAIN we have a hard time reading the dial. you'd think they'd have learned by now?

His damage power is misprinted as a trait on the card...hmmmmm
