if I were to play a phoenix in a bizarro world scenario(where your figs start on their last click and damage is dealt in the opposite direction), what click would phoenix heal to with her trait? would she heal to her 8th click from where she started? or the click labeled #8, which would be the 2nd click from where she started?

She says click 8, and clicks are numbered now so click 8 it is.
Ouch.

When you play that type of tournament you will want to talk to your judge beforehand to see how it will be handled. There obviously isn't going to be an official way to play it since that is not an official tournament format.

When playing Phoenix remember that the 8th click is actually two clicks from KO. Don't short yourself a click in a normal tournament.

I'd rule she start's 2 being KO'd (that's 2 from the start of her dial with regards to the scenario)

okay, since we are on the subject of Bizarro World format,

How would you handle AE figures? Start as say, Matt Murdock and right on turn one you could AE onto the last click of either of the 3 available Daredevils?

...or, even worse, Bruce Banner.

I'll take Banner and Darkseid in a Bizarro format, any day. Instant HoM Hulk and un-counterable Mastermind FTW.

When one of the local venues runs bizzaro tournaments , the specific figures that break this format are banned.

*cough*Bizzaro world tournaments are dumb.*cough*

Why not just play ALL of HoM Hulk, and give yourself some back up offense

I know, opposite days are much better.

Depending on the Point Total of the game, that's also a sincerely useful possibility.

They're actually quite fun to do once in a while.

We just ban AE's and figures like Phoenix for that particular tournament. Certain mechanics just aren't made to work properly with Bizarro format.

The couple backwards dial tourneys I played were really fun though. Just a different way to think about characters and team building.

It's Bizarro World, man! You start the game with the Hulk, and when he's KO'd (reverse damage past the orange line) he "reverts" back into puny Banner on his lowest numbered click that shows the AE SP.

I was mostly wondering if the dialed objects Gamma Bomb and the Infinity Gauntlet would also click in reverse under this scenario.
