HEY YALL!!!

This is the thread where you will read about aziz1a1m, Lazzarus and mrinkel's epic battles in the heroclix world, with incredible, unique and CRAAAAAZY figures like Pete Wisdom, Dazzler and of course Mole Man.

At least one day every week we will post these incredible battles with great details and wisdom, so that may not only learn and become a better player but also be entertained and share a few laughs reading about our hysterical heroclix shenanigans.

Today we opened our Giant Size X-Men boosters, which we were very excited over, but for some it ended in deep distress and for others in joyous celebration.

Then we started playing.
Game #1 - 300 points

aziz1a1m (a): Batman, Robin, The Holiday Killer and Fire and Ice
Lazzarus (L): Kingpin, Mole Man, Leech, Hellfire Club Guard and Manticore.
mrinkel (m): Sabretooth, Wolverine and Gideon.

Place: Dr. Dooms Garden map from the Fantastic Four starter set.

Background story:
Kingpin, the stern ruler of hell's kitchen finds out that he has a son, Leech. Together with a Hellfire Club Guard minion he mind controlled in a previous episode he takes Leech and visits his grandfather Mole Man. Mole Man is having a visit from his old friend Manticore, but because Mole Man is blind he thinks it's a moloid.

When hearing his son Kingpin has provided him with a grandchild he digs a giant hole and together they all travel to Dr. Doom's garden. Mole Man knew Doom was on vacation so he took them all there to celebrate. But everything is not well in the garden of Doom for Sabretooth, Wolverine and Gideon travels there to destroy Leech because he can cancel their charge attacks.

The death of Leech will cause great destruction for the world of DC and to prevent this Batman, Robin, The Holiday Killer and Fire and Ice travels back in time, to the Marvel Universe and to Doom's Garden to prevent this disaster from ever happening.

A fight of epic porportions takes place in the tranquillity of Doom's garden.

The fight:
Team Kingpin (L) takes strategic defensive positions and places Leech so that he cancels out the power actions of everybody on the map. Including Mole Man, who can't dig anymore, which (partly because of his blindness) causes great frustration and confusion, which he expresses in a sad, loud, wailing scream. This affects Manticore deeply; seeing his best friend in such pain makes him weep manly tears and his psyche is permanently scarred (something which may or may not affect the match later on ).

Team Sabretooth (m) crippled by not being able to use charge, places themselves so they can rush towards Leech the next turn.

Team Batman (a) using a great strategic plan, places Batman in clear range for Manticore. To the heroclix noobs out there (you know who you are!!!) this may seem like an unusual, stupid move. Wrong! Infact this is the kind of genius that will baffle and defeat experienced players for many matches to come.

Team Kingpin (L) pushes Manticore to make a range combat attack against Batman (like any sane person would). The attacks hits, but the bravery of Batman knows no limits as he uses mastermind and sacrifices Robin, who gets his right eye pierced by Manticores arrow.

Team Sabretooth (m) advances and Sabretooth goes to attack against Leech, but stops dead in his tracks as he gets entranced by Leech's soulless eyes. Sabretooth begins to doubt if he can kill the innocence of such a disgusting freak.

Wolverine and Gideon however attacks Kingpin, because clearly he is the biggest threat (literally! )

Team Batman (a) advances and stations Batman and Robin next to Wolverine; and The Holiday Killer in range to Manticore, while Fire and Ice brilliantly loafs around and enjoys the weather next to Dr. Doom's swimming pool (the very same pool which Doom bathes naked once every fullmoon only seen by Kristoff, who hides behind the bushes).

Team Kingpin (L) confused by the surrounding people, not knowing who is friend or foe, attacks furiously against everyone! Kingpin and the Hellfire minion focuses on Wolverine, who is clearly the hairiest threat (literally! ).

Only Hellfire minion hits Wolvie and Manticore tries to shoot The Holiday Killer, but still with Mole Man's scream ringing in his ears, he makes a critical miss and hangs his head in shame, crying manly tears.

Leech makes a desperate attempt to run away from Sabretooth but trips all over himself making an hilarious scene, causing everybody witnessing it to burst out in hysterical laughter. Then Sabretooth throws himself over Leech, ripping out intestines and spraying blood all over the place. Before he dies, he cries, whispering to Kingpin "Help me Papa", proving that Leech can't even die with dignity.

Wolvie makes a fool of himself trying to hit everybody and misses, while Gideon starts rambling incoherently.

The Holiday Killer tries to shoot Manticore, he has good attack values, but rolls terribly with the dices, and he ends up proving what a lousy character he really is.

Batman half asleep, does nothing, while Robin, dealing with the loss of his right eye, is trying to supress a mental breakdown.

Mole Man joyous over the return of his digging powers, not realizing it being caused by the death of his grandchild, digs himself over to protect his old friend moloid aka Manticore, and covers the line of sight with his stealth.

Wolverine getting the taste of Leech's blood, goes berserk on Batman. But the bravery of Batman once again shows no limits, as he uses mastermind to push Robin in the way of Wolvies wildly swinging claws, tearing through Robin's chest and stomach.

This fierce attack proves to be vital to Gideon, as he snaps out of his normally confused state and defeats the Hellfire minion.

The blood drips from Sabretooth mouth and claws as he charges with fiery rage against batman making an aggressive attack.

Batman has had his bravery tested many times this day, but perhaps not as much as this time. It's times like these that proves what heroes are made of and using all of his powers and wits, Batman once again uses mastermind, and pulls out a half dead, comatoesed Robin, who promptly gets his head severed by Sabretooth's claws.

The Holiday Killer now blocked with Mole Man's stealth tries to execute Kingpin instead, but makes a critical miss, surprising no one.

Mole Man deeply disturbed by the sound of gunfire graps Manticore and digs under the entire pool making it acroos to the other side.

Kingpin gets killed by Wolvie and/or Gideon (seriously, does it matter? ), while Sabretooth once again launches an attack against Batman. Batman for the first time, now without Robin, uses some common sense and mastermind sacrifices The Holiday Killer, who dies immediately. One can only wonder why this foe of Batman wasn't used before Robin, but one would only wonder in vain, for you are in the shadow of the vast superiour intellect of Team Batman (a) !!!

Manticore, inspired by the bravery of Mole Man's digging skills and now in range of Wolverine, muster all of his strength and bravery, and fires an incredible critical hit, dealing massive damage on Wolverine, thus killing him instantly.
Manticore cheers with excitment, Mole Man blind as a bat doesn't know why, but cheers along so that he can fit in. Manticore gives Mole Man a passionate bro-hug, while he cries manly tears of joy. The pride of Manticore has returned, but for how long?

Fire and Ice finally engage in battle, only because their little pool party has been disrupted by all the commotion. They target poor old Gideon and hits him with a ranged attack.

Gideon now weakened, charges with all of his powers to Batman, but only to fail miserably with his close combat attack.

Batman on the other hand finally decides to man up and face his enemies. Reaching deep down inside, mustering all of his strength, punches Gideon square in the face and hits a critical hit, causing Gideon to be knocked back into Dr. Doom's force field. And although the force field shouldn't give knock back damage, it does out of sheer shock and confusion on Gideon's side, causing him to be defeated.

Sabretooth filled with raging indifference over Gideon's death, swipes at Batman, killing him with ease.

This causes Fire and Ice to react with a vicious long ranged attack, damaging Sabretooth severly.

While Manticore outwits Sabretooth's regen, Mole Man moves to clear way for Manticore's ranged attack against Fire and Ice. Standing there, alone, without Mole Man by his direct side, gazing at Fire and Ice, with the memory of their recent savage attack on Sabretooth, the thought of him being next, the scream of Mole Man still echoing in the back of his head, the pressure, the fear, it's too much! Aiming the bow straight up, firing a single arrow, while making a critical miss. He looks up in the sky, the arrow is falling rapidly down against him, a single manly tear drops from his eye as the arrow penetrates his skull, killing him instantly.

Manticore falls down dead, the sound prompts Mole Man to turn around, shouting: "WHO THERE!?!?!".

Sabretooth speeds away and in the rush grabs Leech's body, then hiding behind the force fields. Mole Man on the other hand, finally realizing he's all alone, hides in the nearest bushes. His stealth makes him almost invisible for the endearing Fire and Ice.

With no target in sight, Fire and Ice takes the opportunity to enjoy the view.

Sabretooth in an act of desperation, tries to befriend Mole Man, using an ingenious plan. He skins Leech's body, and pulls the skin over himself. He then sneaks over to Mole Man in the bushes. He whispers:
"PSSST, mr. Mole Man. It's me, Leech, you grandson."
Mole Man shouts back: "WHAT??? You made it, my lad!!! Give yer old Molle a big hug!". Mole Man grabs Sabretooth and makes a critical hit, thus forcibly gives him a bear hug of passion and love, that only Mole Man can give.

This caughts the attention of Fire and Ice, who prepares to finish Sabretooth off with a ranged attack. For he is obviously the most dangerous threat, and that's the tooth! (Sabre-tooth that is ).

Sabretooth being grabbed by Mole Man has no other choice but to kill the old, blind, senile dwarf. Sabretooth swiftly slits his throat and as the life runs out of him, Mole Man utters a gargled mess: "...gluck... Leech... how could ... yoouuuuuurghghhhhhhhh....".

But alas, it is to late, with an intense and vicious ranged attack, Fire and Ice kills Sabretooth by first freezing his bone to ice, then melting it with intense fire, leaving Sabretooth as a collapsed mess, made by blood, flesh and competely melted bones, all of this pouring out of his open orifices, in a grey/white-blooded thick goo.

As Fire and Ice stands victorious, they ask themselves "to what price?". Sure, Team Sabretooth (m) is defeated, but they didn't prevent Leech's death. And with The Holiday Killer dead, they can't use his timetravelling abilities to travel back to their own time. It seems like Fire and Ice can only do what they do best, relax and enjoy themselves by the pool!

But what will Dr. Doom say when he returns from his vacation, only to find a massacre in his garden and intruders invading his sanctuary? Maybe a future fight will tell that tale...

This concludes the first battle of the day.

Comment: With an unusual and seemingly reckless strategy, Team Batman (a) proved themselves by having a genius intellect to back it up and in the end they won rather easily. Kudos to you, aziz1a1m!!! Kudos!!!

Man (men/women(???)) of the match: Fire and Ice
Comment: Only one left with nearly all Hp left. Impressive!

Honorable mentions #1: Sabretooth
Comment: Viciously slaying a couple people. Nice cutting, mr. Cat!

Honorable mentions #2: Mole Man
Comment: With great strategy and courage he blocked the range several times with his stealth, providing shelter for his fellow team-mates. His loyalty and love to his grandson, Leech, only demonstrate his kind and empathic nature even more. Hey, you rock, mr. Mole Man, can you... DIG it!?!?!?

Worst character: Leech
Comment: Leech ruined everything for everbody with his stupid powers. He made Mole Man scream, he made Sabretooth mad and confused and he made Batman kill Robin. He messed things up and everybody wanted him dead (except for Mole Man). You've been a bad boy, mr. Leech, no ice cream for you! :speechles

That was awesome . I'm going to shout "The Bravery of Batman knows no limit!" every time he masterminds damage to one of his wards from now on (in my best Zap Brannigan voice, ideally).

Doom comes home to hot chicks lounging by his pool and surrounded by the dead and dying.
"I trust you ladies can pay for the damages to my garden."

"But...we don't have any money, Mr. Doom."

"Oh...I'm certain there is SOME way you can pay me..."

You have to buy the pay-per-view package to get any further into the story.

It was an epic battle with lots of emotions.

WHY DID LEECH HAVE TO DIE, WHYYYYYYYYY!

Epic indeed.
I think the main reason for leech's death is me shouting like crazy for you to kill him, just so poor old Mole Man could dig himself a nice cozy hole.

As for the story... I can't believe you wrote this much mrinkel. A great read and a great job. :D

This was a fun read, can't wait for the next one.

Alright, so no update as promised, because aziz1a1m had outwitted Roullettes Probability Control before she used it. So it didn't count.
But tomorrow, new matches will be played. So something will probably happen.
