According to this RA ruling (link) Ambidextrous can be used on figs that have the "Can use as if they had a range of xxxx."
The Ambidextrous Feat states:
Quote
Prerequisites: Range value of 6 or more and one {bolt}.
Choose a character.
The character now has {bolt} {bolt}.
Cost: Twice the assigned character's unmodified range value.
So how does it work with GSX Colossus/Wolverine duo fastball special SP?
This power states:
Quote
FASTBALL SPECIAL: Give Colossus / Wolverine a ranged combat action as if they have a range value of 8. If that attack hits, after actions resolve you may place Colossus / Wolverine adjacent to the target character and then give them a close combat action as a free action, modifying their damage value by +1 for that attack.
Would I be able then to make two Fastball Special attacks against two separate figs?
im no moderator, but i know that it would be one attack, targeting 2 opposers, and damage would be divided among hit targets(such as 1damage to opposer A, and 3 to opposer B. 4 damage total) then make the 2nd attack against either opposer A or B, (choose one)
Why would you make two ranged combat attacks? A ranged combat action with two targets is still just a single ranged combat attack; all you do is divide the damage dealt depending on who was hit.
In this case, make your ranged combat attack against the two tarets, then decide which target you will place C/W next to for the follow-up close combat attack.

And to answer the question that no doubt is coming: Yes, you can split the damage between the hit targets, just like with any other attack.
Also, there is nothing in this card that says the followup Close Combat Action is against the target of the ranged attack correct? It states that the ranged attack target is the fig you go adjacent to prior to making the close combat attack, but it doesn't actually specify that the close combat action is against that fig.
