about monpoc anymore?

I haven't played in awhile, the weather's gotten nice and disc golf has eaten into my goofin' off time, but i'm getting the urge to play some Monpoc pretty soon.

but..

no new stuff...no interest on here.

Is there still hope?

The Team Covenant guys are running a Vassal tournament...42 entries. It's just entering the finals now,top 8 finalists will be announced later today I think. Also, their big Moncon event is next month.

Also, there was a casual mention that some PP reps at Templecon said that Series 6 may be coming out in Fall 2011, but I haven't seen anything else on that.

I haven't played lately either. Kinda disappointing, after I spent so much time acquiring the entire Apes group to play with. Guess it's just another game who's time has passed. My friend doesn't seem very interested in playing anymore either.

I still check on here at least every two days or so. I play MonPoc everyother week and once a month on the weekends.

What is this board. Has it been that long since I have been on here. =)

The various MonPoc boards have always had less traffic than the boards for other CMGs - even ones that sold less like WoW or AAM.

With no new minis for almost a year and early 2012 being the best case scenario for Series 6, there's even less to talk about then there has been in the past. So, yeah, the boards are quiet.

I still play 1-2 games a week. But with no company support, there's not much to talk about.

my gang just isnt on forums etc - we still have official games with prize sup etc

I have 3-4 new people interested in trying the game and there is interest in playing up at my LGS if we could all just stop crossing wires and actually set a time to play.

New releases would sure help though.

Well if I could get Shane moving then we could start making it worth while to show up when clix is on down time.

they said they were undergoing changes and it wasnt just mon poc site ALL of PP was down

next week I play the last tournament at one of the two places in my area running tournaments. The other place I play at weekly and has events through May scheduled, but I'm normally the only one there. It's pretty much dead and my area. Wasn't even that long a go one of the stores in Indianapolis was selling them as low as 99 cents to get rid of them.

I'm prepping for MonCon with several other guys from Chicago that are making the roadtrip. Still have plenty of playtesting to do before next month.
