Prologue

Scott and the others exited to find their teams waiting for them.

"It 'all seems like you need some alone time, Scott." Cannonball said. "I'll just take my team to our common room."

"That would be best, Sam." Cyclops said.

Sam walked off, while Scott turned toward Warren. "You have something to say, Warren?"

"Yeah, I do, fearless leader." Warren pointed a finger right at Scott's chest. "You endangered all of us by keeping the fact that we had a high level threat prisoner here. Not to mention getting all of us into bed with those scum from another dimension."

"Part of being leader is making hard decisions, Warren." Scott's voice never wavered. "It also means not asking the general populace about it. Each one of those decisions had extraordinary circumstances."



"Minding sharing, then?" Warren said. Scott stood stood stoiclly. "I thought not. Any reason there are 3 people that, at one time or another, tried to kill the people we say we protect. giving you advice, and not more people like Bobby and I."

"You and Bobby were never interested before, you were always off with Hank causing trouble-if I recall." said Scott. "During your Champion days, the Black Widow took th e lead. During the Defenders, it was Hank, or the Valkyrie, or even yor girlfried, Candy. So why would I think it would be any different now? You are a follower, Warren, a rock solid stalwart and I need your steady presence on the front lines, not my Inner Circle, where I need tactical advice."

"You also need to be grounded once in awhile," Warren said.

"Funny words coming from an Angel." Scott said. "But this matter isn't up for debate. Who I get advice from is my own decision."

"He has a point, darling." said Emma. "Warren might offer..."

"I am not interested in anything Warren could offer." Scoot said. "All slots are full, Emma."

"I have to concur with Emma, Scott." Magneto said. " A Leader who is inflexible..."

"Says the man who controls iron." Scott scoffed. " And lost his kids when he tried to control their lives. You bullied your way into your consul role, Magnus, would you step aside for Warren?"

"I...I still agree with him." Magneto floated behind him.

"As do I." said Namor. "the Angel is misinformed. I never threatened the X-Men back in the day, and if I did, I have proved my loyalty many times over. But you are acting like a petulant child, Scott. And I should know. You should always take advice, when its given."

"Maybe, but not from a playboy who's never learned." Cyclops said. Other mutants begain linig up behind either Warren or Scott.


"Well, Warren, how would you advise me to settle this?" Scott said as energy began to build up in the room.

"I would advise-mock combat, so we don't destroy the island-or ourselves." Warren ansered, noticing Psylocke going over to Scott's side. "Let's settle this in the Danger Room."

"My thoughts exactly." Scott smiled.

Nice, just realized only 1 of your figures is hindered at all by the BFC and that is wheels himself Professor X! All of my figures will be going half rate the whole game except Longshot. Oh well, at least you can't place objects anywhere on the map except on those elevated squares. I will not be placing any.

"I'm here to support your side Scott, but DON'T presume to make me some part of your mental mind games against Warren. I have my reasons, let's leave it at that."

"No, not Warren," Scott proclaimed, "This battle won't be over until all are defeated. We have to strike for the most dangerous among them."

"I don' see Storm from here mon capitan." said Gambit looking out for the weather goddess.

"He doesn't mean Storm, Gambit," Psylocke sighed, "He means the Professor."

"He shouldn't have taken a side in this. Especially after what he's done."

Free) Gambit uses Perplex on Cyclops damage value. (Now 4)
