Gary is cool, but you can't beat the Hocus Pocus Focus singing, even if it doesn't really handle high rotation.

Where's the yodeling? You can't expect me to vote for Gary Hoey if he doesn't have any yodeling. Bah. Focus for me.

The yodeling is important, but --- I tell ya, that amazing Gary Hoey guitar - wow!

He lost out to Zak Wylde auditioning for Ozzy back in the day and I wonder if Ozzy made the right choice.

They're both good, but I prefer the original.

He made the right choice at the time. No doubt about it. Gary is an amazing guitartist, but Zakk had the chops at the time, and if I recall correctly, he was only 19 when he was hired. Ozzy could mold him if he had to. No Rest for the Wicked is a great, underrated album and Zakk shines through on it.

Never underestimate the appeal of a good yodeler!

Truth to tell, I didn't really appreciate Gwen Stefani until I heard her yodel.

That said, much as I love Gary Hoey's guitar work and the fact that his version sort of revitalized things for Focus...
