View Poll Results: Which version of "30 Days In The Hole" do you prefer?
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.
No no no. Humble Pie wins this one hands down. They practically created this sound and Steve Marriott's voice is so perfect for singin' "Some seeds and dust that you got bust on"...man, that's the real ####.
Governement Mule's extended outro did absolutely nothing for me and throwing in I Don't Need No Doctor was meaningless. Sorry, but the Pie are one of my favorite bands of all time and I know the Mule are good, but not against Marriott, Ridley, Shirley, Clemson. This band, as good as they were, actually got even better after Peter Frampton left in the early 70s.
Humble Pie - For Your Love a great acoustic version of a song I think RE already covered in his OvC. It's Humble Pie with a very young Peter Frampton doing an eclectic version of For Your Love on acoustic guitars and hand drumming on what looks like a djembe and congas. Cool before this type of stuff was cool.

I don't know Gov't Mule, and don't mind the cover at all. Its servicable, but not inspired. IMHO, it really is light years away from the Humble Pie original.
