It doesn't really cover a whole lot and there are no spoilers or anything, but it does show once more that Wizkids realizes that they are not keeping up with the demand. It's at least worth a look.

A 20% increase is pretty significant when you consider that 20% of GSX is probably more than the entire production run of Hammer of Thor. I think it's going to take WK a while to get back ahead of that demand curve.

I'm most interested to see what they end up with after they figure out the curve. (What is the NEW status quo?)

The most important thing to come away with from this article is understanding why they're still behind the curve. Heroclix is re-surging, but the development of the next sets are at least 4-6 months ahead of release, so it's tough to predict future demands to the tea. More than 20% seems reasonable, but obviously it didn't stop a sudden sellout like GSX had.

If they expand the number for Superman, let's hope it's way more than 20% though. I want muh Legionnaires, so I can run them against the Dominators and Mordru and re-create Earthwar!

Nice article! Rep to you. It's always interesting to see a little of the behind the scenes thinking in regards to production without the snark that we get from the player voulenteers that work with the WK brass.

I agree its nice to see this from a different viewpoint. On the other hand I dont see the need to insult the people that dedicate the time to help keep this game possible. I hardly (if ever) see snide remarks from the "player volunteers". I do see them toe the company line, but I also see them disagree with WK from time to time. They are not as bad as you would make them out to be.

I'm glad that they intend to increase production for future sets. I think the notion that they have "improved overall quality" is a little bit dubious when I look at the quality of the paint jobs in the last several sets.

You seem to have missed the entire thread Harpua posted about the user Questions (that has since been deleted) that lead to his banning. An unprofessional public outing that was a total invasion of the guy's privacy that should have been addressed with the powers that be.

I'm both happy and annoyed at this. It makes it difficult for regular joes to get product if these sets sell out way early like this. As it is, I'm never gonna get any DC75th or GSX due to the COMPLETE sellout, and I'll be getting a miniscule amount of Cap as well. If I weren't good friends with my local store owner, I'd never be able to get my hands on any of this stuff.

The backstory is that Questions, aka Heroclix1234 was violating the forum rules by posting on two different accounts. He got called out on it and the Questions account was banned. The Heroclix1234 account is still active.
