Boot Transporter Symbol

Transporter that gets around by walking, not flying or swimming.

Uhh... Transporter? Sorry, a newb I am.

A character with the boot speed symbol printed in reverse is a transporter
and possesses the Carry ability and the Move and Attack ability.

Carry
When moving as a result of being given an action, this character may carry one friendly character. When this ability is used, modify this character's speed value by –2 until the end of the action. Only characters with a combination of the following symbols can be carried: , , , , , , . If a character has any other symbols or is holding an object it cannot be carried. To be carried, the friendly character must be adjacent to this character at the beginning of this character's action. When this character ends its movement for the action, the carried character must
be placed in a square adjacent to this character. But, it's not in reverse. It just has a black circle behind it. x.x

Compared to this symbol, the is reversed. It is printed in black on the PAC, (just like ) but on the dials they are printed in white (so they show up on the black plastic of the dial). Is that color difference causing the confusion?

What exactly is weird about it? Genuinely curious here...

On the dials its a white dot behind a black boot with black lines coming off the back.

A normal boot is a white outline with white lines coming off the back.

So, it's a reference to some of the coloring being reversed.
