Here's the new Trait for the awesome new HYDRA Agent :
Quote
Cut Off One Limb: If a friendly character of 40 or more points and with the Hydra keyword is within 8 squares when this character is KO'd, you may deal one of those characters 1 unavoidable damage. If you do, place a #003 Hydra Agent in your starting area.
My question is fairly straight, for once :
If during a selaed event I get one - and only one - of those, can I still use the Trait, placing the Agent that has just been KOed in my starting area ? Or must I have at least one other copy of the Agent to be able to use the Trait ?
You know everyone loves to be the villain. Hugh Grant
During sealed events all figures have to come from the booster pull. You would have to pull 2 in order to do that trick.

I don't think that would apply. You cannot bring in extra Madrox into the game unless they were pulled in the booster.

Players cannot use any game elements on their force unless it came from a booster opened from this event.
Now this case is a little different as he is respawning the same figure. I would think that you would need 2 to have one activate to bring another in and then you could rotate the 2.

KO's appear in the Hydra Agent's stat slot. It is immediately remove it from the map and game.
Player deals 1 damage to another character.
Player places a Hydra Agent in his starting area, which could be the one just removed since it is now not part of the game.
Seems like there are simultaneous effects happening here, that should have their order of resolution determined by the active player.
Mister Id is correct; You need to have a second one to bring in.
However the power states "...when this character is KO'd, you may deal one of those characters 1 unavoidable damage. If you do, place a #003 Hydra Agent in your starting area."
It doesn't state another #003 Hydra Agent, so wouldn't you be able to KO the Hydra Agent, remove from board, deal 1 unavoidable damage to the appropriate figure, then place the same Hydra Agent back on the board in the starting area? Of course notating that he's been KO'd once to ensure your opponent gets the points.
I do not believe Vlad is correct. I believe you could use the KO'd Hydra Agent to bring himself back.
Would that even apply on the opponents turn?
Would the removal of the KO'd agent always happen before the choice to deal the damage to place the agent in the starting area, and not be a simultaneous effect?
This could really be bad... ur opponent could just repeated kill these guys and rack up points... could ruin an entire tourney...
Not really, it's optional. If you're concerned about it don't do it.
