I have a Satellite & Robot 3-D Objects from the LOSH starter. What are the stats & rules for them? Where is this listed? I have never used them or see anyone else use them.
All special objects are listed in the Player's Guide:
COM DISH†
Heavy: Continual. When this object is used in an attack,
modify the attacker’s damage value by +1 for the attack.
Availability: Legion of Super Heroes Starter Game
NEWSBOT†
Light: Continual. When you give a character an action to
attack using this object, it does not count toward your
available actions for the turn.
Availability: Legion of Super Heroes Starter Game
The Legion of Super-Heroes rulebook was the original source for these objects' text when they came out.

I have a question about this item. Was this item always intended to be a heavy object that acts as a light object when used in a closed combat attack?

The Robot is actually from the X-Men Danger Room set.

It modifies the Damage VALUE, not damage dealt. It still adds +2 to damage dealt.
Say, you've got a 3 damage character toting the Com Dish, upon attacking in close combat, he'd be dealing 3 damage +1 from the Com Dish and +2 for it being a Heavy.
At least, that's how I read it.

I just picked up that Heroclix rules app for my phone and it's very thorough. It has 3D objects and rules as well. It's called, strangely enough, "Heroclix rules" and its by Kyrremann.

We're overdue for Wizkids to make Joe on the Lawmaster and other 2000AD characters.

According to the latest rules, objects now modify damage value. So, is the Comdish now nerfed due to the latest rules change?

Isn't the effect of a heavy object that it adds +2 to damage and then the special rule for the com dish +1 so (+2)+(+1) = +3.
I think all current wording on other effects that works almost like a standard effect (i.e a special power that works as Energy Explosion but deals 2 rather than 1 damage) that they say "instead of X, deal/add/replace with Y"

No, it still modifies your damage value by +3. Objects have been adding to damage value (instead of damage dealt) since the LoSH rules if I remember correctly.
EDIT :
