It's been a while since I've seen this asked for. Seriously dudes, what is the hold up on this? I have never heard a good answer to why they have never been added to the Units section yet, and it has been a looooong time. ATAs have been around longer than alter-egos, and AEs are already searchable on there.
And the dial submission tool does not give the option for ATA rarity. If this was at least available, I'm sure that someone, or several someones, would help get it done in a jiffy.
It is time to take care of this request, we have been more than patient

And if you guys don't act on this immediately and without hesitation, we are prepared to dock you all the money we've been paying you.

I totally understand that this site is free (although a lot of people make donations), but all you have to do it take the images that WK posts on their site when they release them and upload them to the site/units section. I mean it would seriously take like 30 seconds. For a site that does have the best team building/collection/units section on the net why not take that extra few minutes to make it that much more better?
And if there is some reason then that they can't do it, or are still working on it, then that's fine just let everyone know so we can avoid these types of threads filled with a bunch unnecessary snarky comments.

We're working on it. It's all about coding.
Are you a PbP'r (Play By Poster)? Come and check out www.creationmatrix.com; we've got EVERYTHING.

Sorry, but all I can hear is people making demands of folks that don't owe them ####.
Is it a good idea? Sure. But I seriously object to the OPs "do it and do it now" tone.

I'm not involved in the units section, but let me say from my programming experience that this is much more involved than 30 seconds. They want to put the ATAs up properly, integrated into the team building system. Think about all the rules that go with the ATAs that need to be respected. When you add an ATA, the ATA has to be aware of what members of your current build have the proper keyword. Its value has to be updated when you add another figure with the same keyword. I doubt the existing unit's section has much support for variable costs at all (they certainly didn't do it with, say, Lazarus Pit). Creating an item that has a variable cost will be a fundamental change to the system.
Do you just want it done or do you want it done right?
The biggest problem we have right now is every unit must have a collector number, including cardboard elements. Unfortunately, none of the ATAs were given a collector number when they were created. So we have to make up a number starting at 001 and just add to it, but then there's no real order to them. If we tried to do it alphabetically, then it would need to be reordered and renumbered every time a new ATA came out. If we went with chronological order of when they came out, then it would look pretty unorganized when looking at the list. And I'm not even sure exactly what that chronological order is for when they came out. Can anyone list that?
If the community has any suggestions for how to give these ATAs a collector number and keep them in an organized fashion, I'd love to hear some.

Just done would be fine.
I'm not saying this is a super easy task, or that it would take 30 seconds. The ATAs don't have to be aware of anything. Just add them with a fixed point cost. Then when you build a team, you can add the corresponding amount of ATAs that you have figs that require them. Not as cool a way to do it as you described, but it would work just fine that way. Better than nothing, and better than waiting forever.

I would vote for chronological order. I think that would work just fine. When new ATAs are released, just add them to the list. I don't think anyone would be confused by that approach.

That. Every word in that statement is true.

Well, no. It would look organized in the context that it's by chronological order, starting with the two normal TA's that got retroactively turned into ATA's:

Morlocks
Serpent Society
Fantastic Four/Fantastic Force
Thunderbolts
Alpha Flight
The Society

Green Lantern Honor Guard
Legionnaires
Monster Society of Evil
Guardians of the Galaxy
Runaways
Amazons
Checkmate
Justice League International
League of Assassins
Dark Avengers
Outlaws
U-Foes
X-Force
All-Star Squadron
Atlantis
Secret Six
Shadowpact
White Lantern Corps
Hellions
Horsemen of Apocalypse
New Mutants
Nextwave
Reavers
So would eveyone be happy if we went with this list for ordering? Starting with Morlocks as number 001?
Does it have to have a numerical value?
The White Lanterns are numbered W-01 and so on... Woould it be possible to assign the ATAs a letter code instead? Say the first three letters of the name... that would make it easy to organize it alphabetically.

I would be fine with this. There really isn't any need to spend all that time trying to get it perfect when we could just click the add button a couple more times. But the lack of set numbers does complicate things.
I really don't have a preference as to how they are organized as long as they are assigned the respective keyword(s). That way they appear on the list of units with that keyword when you click on the keyword under a unit.
I'm really glad to finally see an active discussion on this topic that is not just filled with trolling posts about how this is a free site and therefore should never be improved.
