Sorry, I'm sure this has been asked already, but I haven't had a chance to play in a few weeks and I'm a bit behind.
If I understand the new pack:
If a figure with TK moves a friendly character, both the TKer AND the guy being moved have to have line-of-sight on the target square.
For instance: Jean Grey can see Cyclops and the target square she wants to drop him into. But the target square is NOT in Cyke's LOF, so she can't do that.
That is correct. I believe the LOF issue came up to balance the new change that you do not need to roll breakaway if the target of the TK action is adjacent to an opposing figure. But I could be wrong.
That and the fact that now, the tk'er is drawing LoF to a destination square and thus a figure with stealth,in hindering, can still be attacked, using TK now.

This reminds me can you TK a barrier? I thought you couldn't because it's not an object or figure but I was looking through some threads the other day and I swear one of the rules deputies said you could. I know you can TK Larfleeze's constructs because they are objects but what about parts of a barrier? Thx

no go on the TK of barrier pieces. they are considered 'blocking terrain'. what you may be referring to are the comments that were made regarding Nightcrawler being able to punch a barrier and then place that piece after his hss movement is done. but as far as tk'ing a chunk of barrier? i'm thinkin that's a big no.

No. And if it is the thread I am thinking of, no RD said you can TK a Barrier square; they were referencing the Barrier-creating character being TK'd.
A subtelty I was introduced to not a long time ago :
The TK-user A, the target B and the destination square C must have a LOF to each other, which mean not only that A & B must have a LOF to C, but also that C must have a LOF to A & B, and that both A and B must have a LOF to each other (A to B and B to A).
I know it sounds alike, but when it comes to character with special effects to LOF, it's an important distinction.
