Libra killed the Martian Manhunter, is the living embodiment of the Anti-Life Equation according to Lex Luthor, fought off the Spectre, absorbs superpowers, and became a god. So wtf is this dial?
I couldnt agree more. I was hoping upon hope that some Final Crisis pieces would get in this set, Libra was my top want. I wasnt wanting a 'broken figure' but I was really expecting more out of the Herald of Darkseid.

agree! Libra must have a killer instinct dial that would feared of others.
"There will be darkness; sounds of a lost spirit will spread out ev'rywhere..... that will be the day my name will be remembered!!!!"
This is a very good piece for its points. With nu-Leadership, and an incentive to have lower point characters on the field, you have a serious threat. 11 attack on the opening click, Mastermind, then shifting into Mind Control and PC. A solid piece for villain squads.

As for the piece itself, I really dig it. It's a great attacker with support powers to compliment it's moveset. In sealed, I don't imagine Libra will be able to thrive so much in comparison these dang HSS demigods, but I think with the right support, Libra and really control a decent amount of the battle.

I'm not a big d.c. guy but I'm going to get this piece. He looks awesome, and is a great dial. nice barage of powers combined with decent stats, whats not to love? probably won't do that well in sealed but hypersonic speeding kryptionians are hard to compete with.
What happens if I have a 300 point team composed of only these guys? Would all 3 of them get the +1 attack since they are all technically the highest point figure on my team?
I played him in a sealed tournament. Unfortunately in this Superman set his stealth is useless. Even given that weakness, I find his trait to be good, but the best part of his dial is easy to pass. Two clicks down the dial this guy can double PC your opponent. Even better yet his trait doesn't state that you need LOS if an opponent moves out of your LOS. I think i'll give him a second chance, but I think his cost kinda hurts him.
I heard they were making Libra and thought "Cool, I can make an new Injustice Gang team!". Then I saw him and thought "Maybe it can still work". Then I looked up who was on his roster, and my first thought was "Oh noes, this team is teh suxxor!". Not really a high-level want for me anymore.
A bit weak for Libra and certainly not the most efficient piece in the game, but actually surprisingly good for 92 points. He's a solid leader and it's incredibly easy to put together a deadly team of under-92 point figures.
Prophetic Manipulation is a neat power that goes off the rails with friendly Plasticity-bearing tie-up figures.
Not amazing, but one of the more interesting figures in Superman. He's got an okay balance of slightly unorthodox support powers and okay stats. Pretty pushable, and clicks 3-5 can be great with the double Probability Control under the right circumstances. Not sure if he's best used with a tentpole to improve the chances of making his trait awesome, or with a swarm to make better use of Leadership and Mastermind, but it's cool that he can do alright with both.
