Just of curiosity, when you people determine LOS, do you go by the entire square or do you actually get down on the map and go by whether or not the LOS actually goes thru an object drawn on the map? Since I've been playing and judging here and there, we agreed on a "house rule" that if any LOS goes thru a square containing any blocking terrain what-so-ever, that LOS is blocked. I'd really like the opinion of other players and judges on this, especially those who have played in tourneys and such.
To determine if there is a clear line of fire, use any straight edge or draw an imaginary line from the center of the attacker’s square to the center of the target’s square. Line of fire is blocked and the attack cannot be made if the imaginary line passes through a square that contains a figure other than the attacker or the target, or the line of fire crosses blocking terrain.
The entire square is what is used for determining LoF, whether or not the line crosses through the physical token or figure. If LoF crosses any part of a figure-occupied square, the LoF is blocked entirely.
