Just for verification purposes, I read the rule book and on using objects it states "A Character with Super Strength" can pick up and object then attack with it on his next turn..
Question #1:
Can you charge (pick up the object as long as you have super strength) then hit with that object you just picked up?
Question #2:
2 Characters are locked in combat with an object adjacent to both. I roll a breakaway, then pick the object up and Charge that same character to hit him with my attack plus the object I just picked up correct?
After reading this I decided to look at Super Strength, and came across something interesting. This is out of the new 2011 PAC,
SUPER STRENGTH When this character moves due to its own action, it may pick up an object and hold it. The object must be either in a square the character occupies or in an adjacent square. If this power is lost or countered while this char acter is holding an object, immediately put the object in the square this char acter occupies. When this character makes a close combat attack targeting blocking terrain, a wall, or an object, modify its damage value by +2 for the attack.
The part I'm currious about is the last line. I'm thinking there is a typo somewhere, because it doesn't state anything about modifying for attacking characters. I know you do, but this is stating otherwise.
If you have SS and are carrying an object, are you required to use the object if you attack another character?
Are you required to use it to destroy a wall if it is not needed to destroy the wall?
If you are attacking in Close Combat you have to use the object, unless using a power (Incapacitate for example). You DON'T have to throw it; I don't think you have to use it to break a wall/terrain, but I don't know if I've ever seen it asked.

I did not think you NEEDED to use the object, but it does make sense that if I am holding a dumpster, I just could not put it in my pocket and try to punch you. Waiting for official, now that I am confused.
Offical: Core Rulebook 2011 page 18. You cannot get more official then that. I would quote but I'm on my phone.

Do objects used in attacks add to the damage dealt when using Exploit Weakness? That is, can objects be used when attacking with Exploit Weakness?
most objects add to damage value, so if you are using exploit weakness, object bonus would not be reduced.
Also even if an object did add to damage dealt, exploit weakness is penetrating damage and would not be reduced.

Sorry if I'm being dense this morning, but the bolded statement above confused me a little.
Objects modify your damage value when used in close combat. So they are not their own damage but all dealt at the same time.

Think of it like a perplex when using in a close combat attack. When you perplex your damage and use exploit weakness that +1 modifier is not reduced, well neither is object modifiers.
