I want to make sure i understand how the horde tokens work....
When building my force, do i have the option to play multiple single pog horde tokens, OR stack some of them (up to the printed max)? Can I have 3 single loose orc tokens as well as a stack of 4?
The orcs have a mechanic to unstack. Can they RE-stack mid game? Can other non-orc horde token stack and/or unstack mid-game?
If I stack 4 elven archers, do I basically have a 4-click, 60 point figure with the same stats on every click?
When a stack is hit, do you remove one token per click of damage?
The article on Heroclix.com says that there is a way to bring back ko'ed tokens in epic battles. How does that work?
I think it might be a little early to ask for rules clarifications... when the LOTR HeroClix rulebook hasn't been released yet. All the answers you're looking for might be in there.

"Now don't be hasty" You remind me of Treebeard
You're right....but I need immediate gratification. I'm too amped up over the LotR previews!

You and I both are wondering how the stacks bands and disbands, as well.
I'm thinking the M up front is the Max # of tokens you can put in said stack and the S on the back is the # of tokens in the Stack that then modifies whatever it says to.
Just my .02 cents...more curious how they get together and back together later in the game!

I'm not entirely sure how the stacking or unstacking takes place. There's a reference in the Orcs to unstacking, so I'm assuming it's something similar to that, without the bonus move.
As for combat, I assume you treat the stack as only the top token. A hit of 6 damage on a stack kills the top hoardster, and then... there's the rest of the stack. Hence Sauron's ability to rip through a stack. But essentially, a stack has Invincible.
So what happens when General Ramm uses a move action and the Locust Horde TA and gets adjacent to a stack of Horde tokens? Does he just move the top token?
For that matter, what happens when a Halo or Gears Of War figure throws a grenade at a square a stack of Horde tokens is in? Doe they all take damage?
What if Lockjaw transports veteran Icons Joker with the Armor Piercing feat so he's adjacent to a stack of Horde tokens? Do they all take Poison damage next turn?

As far as I can tell, only the top token is affected.
Gotta wait for the starter!

Don't know, but logic dictates a Horde Stack is treated as a single character showing the stats of the topmost horde token. Damage dealt to the stack is resolved against the top token, and is removed. Attack finished.
I'm gonna assume stacks can't be knocked back, carried, or moved by other characters.

This is my guess how they work as well. The Riders of f'n Rohan can stack and carry characters If the S=number of horde tokens in a Stack, then they could carry more than 1 character!
EDIT: The M=6 for the Riders of Rohan, if that is the maximum, could you stack 6 and then carry SIX characters!!! Geez....

Oh, I know we need to wait for the starter/rules to be posted, I was more curious about people's (possibly wild) speculations.
My questions stem more from a worry that the interaction between existing Powers (especially ones that aren't in the set) and Horde tokens will be difficult. Time will tell though.
