I picked up a metric S#!& ton of boosters from my local card shop today because they were 40% off...now i have a bunch of pieces but am not too sure on how i should build an army.
I have a Vet Juggernaut from fantastic forces, and definately want to include him, so, what should i look for in other pieces, good abilities? thanks
Going off of almost no information (what sets were the boosters from, all fantastic Forces?) I can say the following.
Try to have a close combat guy, a ranged guy, at least 1 flyer, not all flyers, and a piece with either probability control or perplex to start. That'll be a solid team to start things off.
oh and take it from me dont try to bypass the filters on cursing on this forum that is how i got my little infraction warning below my name
*please mods have mercy on this mans post
"In chess, it's called Zugzwang... when the only viable move is not to move...."
haha, i bleeped myself, are we supposed to keep it g rated? lol
Boosters were:
Fantastic forces
Hypertime
sinister, and
A starter that came with batman, robin, joker, harley quinn, hawg girl, and a mislabeled man bat, and hawk girl
sorry that took so long, had to search set symbols xD
yea i bleeped myself too but it didnt work haha. so yes i believe g rated is best
probability control is one of my favorite powers, it is a little insurance to land a hit. and the batman and robin in the started are pretty good.
"In chess, it's called Zugzwang... when the only viable move is not to move...."
yeah, when i played we didn't even know about abilities till the game was halfway over and then i fell in love with charge lol, is there a way to post my collection on this site?
i wanna get my whole collection documented, because at $1.75 a booster, im gonna have alot soon haha
i wanted to get into a table top game of some sort, my focus was at first on warhammer, but im too poor, then to warmachine, but i cant paint, so finally to mage knight, i ordered some mage knight and heroclix online, but couldn't wait, so i went to my card store because i knew they had heroclix, bought a bunch, came home opened them (its like christmas) and played for a loong time, its soo fun!
where are you from? northeast ohio by any chance? and warhammer is expensive i love to watch it be played though. and one thing you might want to keep in mind that those sets you bought are really old. hypertime is one of the first sets, some of those old figures dont hold up against new ones, try to get heroclix from the origin set or newer

haha, nope, Massachusetts, and i know they're old, i couldn't resist though, the packs were sooo cheap, and i only play with my friends who play the same sets, and a 600 point game first day was irresistible
Haha. Nice! I was going to play war hammer and ended up buying a necron set and assembled it, but I never ended up painting them. Now, it's just sitting on my desk. You should get some of the more recent packs. Superman is coming out next week, and I'm looking forward to the Flashpoint figures :D
