Back in May we announced the release of three Colossals to Toys 'R' Us and the response was overwhelming! We're pleased to share with you all that three new colossal offerings will be available in Toys 'R' Us beginning in November 2011. And like the previous colossals released through Toys 'R' Us, these figures will feature familiar sculpts but all-new dials! [...]

I'm really hoping that these will eventually make their way to the hobby stores and comic shops as well. I didn't get Nemesis or Frost Giants from my GSX buys, and also wasn't able to get the re-released Sentinels and Apocalypse until they were available from the local venue.

These are awesome can't wait to run new and old Frost giants just the fact that we are given the option with multiple different dials is great. I have patience so don't mind waiting till they hit the hobby/comic shops as the last TRU's were impossible for me to get.

It says potentially available at LCS. So here we go again.

Hmm this gives me hope that we'll be getting news about the GSX fast forces soon too.

Im really starting to get annoyed with their marketing BS. This was an enormous CF the first time and should only be released to local venues.

I have four frost giants already! I DON'T WANT MORE! I'm happy with them!

Seriously, I don't know that I have a good place to put these.

I only have one Frost Giant and now I can get MORE !!!!!!

Unless they release them in EVERY Toys R Us, this is not cool.

Our LGS still hasn't gotten the first set that they ordered.
Will these once more only be at a handful of TRU stores sprinkled around the country and sell out on TRU.com within an hour or two of going up? I'd be more optimistic on these if they hadn't bungled the distribution of the last ones.

Edit: On the plus side, I will give them this. The dials are different, and it looks like they may have fixed the problem that Frost Giants have with their spear breaking off.

Hope they make it to hobby stores because despite managing to get 2 of the 3 exclusive colossals it was one of the worst hassles ever and I'm not about to even think about going through that mess again.

Was it? Because I remembering everyone complaining about it relentlessly, but seemingly for no reason.
I have some issues with the way this is packaged, but have no problem with retail chains having some different clix to collect. Spread the word.

That's up to Toys R Us, but the clix were available on the TRU website last time as well, so they could be gotten anywhere.

I'll come to the defense on the mass marketing of clix products, always. However, I'll admit a lack of excitement about the dials. I'm just not a big colossal fan. Frost Giant is nice to see, just to keep that army of generics going. I think he's the one I've seen most successfully played from the old set.

Hopefully this time around I am able to get these. I like the lower point costs on them and the fact that I don't have any Frost Giants yet.
