FWIW, I don't thinkt I know any "real" MTG players. I was once a casual player, and when I played some people who played competitively, it was harsh.

I was an extremely casual player who happened to have unbelievably powerful cards, as a result of getting in really early. "What? You mean you don't have four Libraries of Alexandria?" Which was actually an understatement, as I had eight of the things at one time. Couldn't pull a Guardian Beast or Juzam Djinn to save my life, though.

I actually over heard one of our players call another player Nerd last week. I looked at him with a confused look on my face and just walked away.

This seems appropriate. After all, he is Ogre
