Today we spotlight one of the Marvel Universe's fiercest and most passionate heroes. At different times in his storied career, he has been an Avenger, a Champion, a famous wrestler, a mythic deity, and a mere mortal as well! We can only be talking about Hercules! [...]
I would make two changes to this figure for it to be my perfect Hercules. 1) I'd change out that first click of SS for one more click of his attack SP. 2) I would change the Charge, Plasticity, and Flurry clicks to the speed SP on the SI Hercules--Charge, Flurry, and Plasticity. I'd be prepared to spend an extra 20-30 points for that. That would be the perfect Hercules.
Other than that, I like this new Hercules quite a bit. I'm prepared to (probably prematurely) declare it better than the SI Hercules, both in character accuracy and effectiveness. The most I think about it, the more I like it, actually.
I love Hercules both as a character and as a heroclix, many a team of mine was made using the SI version, I like this one and think he'll make a nice addition to my teams.

Would've made Super Strength a trait (he's Hercules. When is he ever not strong?) and put in more of the SP. Overall I really like it. He's outclassed by Thor and Hulk (as he should be) but overpowers most of the other bruisers.
Given how good the SI Herc was, this is kind of a letdown. I'm surprised that Wizkids didn't take this opportunity to put in a removable object or put in a "buddy" trait to work with Amadeus Cho or Thor.
i wont be picking this one up. sec016 adds so much more for 11pts that i'd downgrade every other figure on a team to make sure the secret invasion version of herc makes it onto a team. he's such a beast (and comic accurate).
unfortunately, other than an admittedly higher attack value, this fig doesn't really bring something to the table to differentiate it from sec016. it feels like these two figs are out of chronological order
