Is this power ignored by Pulse Wave?
Pulse Wave ignores all powers (except those that outright state that they cannot be ignored). Pulse Wave damage does not activate Live!
This is the current ruling, correct? And similar powers work the same way, like SM Lex Luthor's power:
LAST PERFECT COCKTAIL WAS A SUPER-SERUM: When turning the dial, if this click is revealed due to damage taken from a opponent's attack, stop turning the dial.
I thought I remember a ruling where it was ruled they are not ignored, but I can't seem to find it. I am then assuming that ruling was never made and I want to double check. Thanks in advance.

When I came on board as RA I brought with me a mission to meet the intent of a power/ability and a firm distaste for exploits or loopholes that circumvented the intention of a rule. That's where the Rules team comes in.
I quote the final word in my post. I thought I made it pretty clear that this is a thread verifying that ruling is still current because I thought I remembered a ruling going to opposite way here on the forums.

Not trying to knock on the other users for helping, but sometimes I post threads here to verify that I am thinking through something correctly and all the replies are explanations on how the powers work even though I do have it right.

This bit from the PG (under Ignoring) is probably what you are thinking of:
Game effects which alter the way a figure is KO‘d or otherwise defeated cannot be ignored.
Neither Live! nor LPCWSS change the way a character is KO'd, so they may be ignored just fine. This is diffrent from stuff like the Lazarus Pit feat, which actually does change the way a character is KO'd; LP couldn't be ignored even though PW normally ignores feats.
THE PHOENIX REBORN: Once per game, when Phoenix would be KO'd, instead heal her to click number 8.
are ignored, but things like Mr. Immortal:
Quote
DYING IS WHAT I DO BEST!: When Mr. Immortal is KO'ed, instead of being defeated, remove him from the map, place a special terrain marker in the square he occupied and turn his dial to click #9. Other characters can't occupy the square with the special terrain marker. At the beginning of your turn, if Mr. Immortal is removed from the map this way, heal him of 1 damage. When click #6 is revealed, remove the specal terrain marker and place him in that square. Victory points are only awarded for Mr. Immortal if he is removed from the map at the end of the game.
are not, because one happens when she would be KO'ed and the other happens when he is, correct?
