BUT I WANT TO DIE: At the beginning of your turn, Manhunter Grandmaster uses Regeneration as a free action, but can't otherwise use it through this power.
Can this be used with Automatic Regeneration?

My thought is that Auto Regen uses the same wording, so is not "otherwise using Regeneration through this power"

Manhunter Grandmaster's "But I want to die" power reads: At the beginning of your turn, Manhunter Grandmaster uses Regeneration as a free action, but can't otherwise use it through this power.
I would have to say no that he cannot use this power in tandem with Auto Regen since Auto Regen says "this character uses" and the Special power specifically states "can't use this power otherwise.

Auto Regen was the first thing I thought of when I read his Special Power. I thought they worded it very well. He can't Auto Regen with it, and it isn't available for "copying" by GSX Rogue's Power Absorbtion.
I like it. I like it a lot.

I agree with the judgement, however, you can use the same free action twice as long as it comes from a different Source. Example, Nico can use her regular perplex and the perplex granted by her SP simultaneously.
In order to use the Auto Regen feat you need to be able to use the regeration power, other than the way outlined in "but I want to die", regeneration can't be used, so he wouldn't meet the pre-requisite.

I disagree with that assessment. He can use it in a limited manner. It's no different than Trick Shot on the new Deadshot.

The feat allows for the power to be used the exact same way as the special power itself. The stipulation on the special power is that it cannot otherwise be used through this power.

It's different because the ability to allow characters or hindering to be ignored with trick shot is simply something that happens, which is why you can use it but don't have to be using Ranged Combat Expert (or plasticity for that matter) in the attack. Automatic Regeneration is a free action, something that requires activating. Additionally, Dead-Shot's power isn't explicit in stating that it can't be used in other ways, rather it has more conditions required to activate it (must be in hindering, must have no action tokens).
