The other day I overheard someone talking about how in the new powers and abilities card that outwit targets and shape change is for targets. I thought about it and it still seems sketchy but can you do it???

Outwit is not an attack, so cannot shape change against Outwit.

Yea that's exactly what I kept saying but their argument was that since shape change is target and outwit is line of fire (or sOmething along those lines) that it could be worded as an attack.. Thank you

No where does this description of Outwit say that it is an sttack, target is just a way of saying "the character that is going to be effected" or "the effected character" without all those words. What they are trying to do is cheat.

It sounds as if your opponent cannot read.

I agree with the above statement.

"Unrelated" to clix rules this is one of those funny ones. Your average shapeshifter may be able to fool your average smart guy but not Wolverine's nose (for one example) but unless the shapechanger also has stealth, the smart guy is the one who can counter the power.

i wasnt playing him we were just having a discussion and some other guys were talking and i asked about it.. was reluctant to believe them..
