@mormos. That situation came up with GSX Blob. The way it works is, if Hollywood has the gem when he takes damage your OPPONENT chooses the order for the effects to be applied. So someone hits Hollywood for 2 damage and has toughness reduce it to 1 and then his other power ignores all but 1 damage then the 1 damage is applied.
@HepatitvsJ. Actually, that is now false. From the Final Word for Blob: What happens if Blob gains Toughness or some other way to reduce damage? Is he completely immune to damage then? In this case, Blob has two game effects that will ignore or reduce damage dealt, so Blob's player must choose which effect will activate. This is still very helpful. For bigger attacks, Blob's player can choose to ignore all but 1 damage. Small attacks that are only dealing 1 damage, Blob's player can choose to use Toughness (or whatever) so that it is reduced to 0. The choice resides not with the active player, but with the player controlling Blob. So the same would be for Hollywood. Anyway, this is a great figure that I look forward to adding to my GoTG teams :)

Since the power says ignore not reduce if this guy picks up the gem of cytorak he is invincible barring outwit?
You can't outwit any of the powers granted by picking up the gem because they are not on the figure's dial. Sorry, I know that does not answer your question.
First fig I played when I cracked my first boosters. Charge, super strength, probably the best defensive power in the game combined with flight and indomitable make this the perfect scrapper for me. I'm actually considering building a 300 pt with him holding the gauntlet. Only downside is the 10 av, but since you're not exactly breaking the bank on him points wise I am more than okay with it. Easiest 5 stars of the set.
Easily one of the best clix I pulled when I bought my packs. I've used him on a Guardians of the Galaxy team at both 400pts and 500pts and he practically carried the whole team both games.

Probably one of the best tie-up pieces in the GG set. So annoying to deal with, especially if you base someone without the ability to auto-break away while you're on your Almost Immortal clicks. The big thing is he actually costs 142 points in my eyes as I would never run him without the GotG ATA. I also found him to be an amazing minion for Dormammu (11 AV full dial means never having to say you're sorry).
Q: If you make him herald of Galactus and give him invulnerability, does that stack on top of "Almost Immortal" so that any attacks and other effects (poison) that deal just 1-2 damage still don't get through his defenses due to invulnerable?
