This problem came up in a game I was playing recently.
If I have a figure with flying (in this case an e doombot) next to a friendly figure, can i pick tha figure up, carry it as part of my speed, drop it, and pick up another, now adjacent figure and carry it the rest of my move? basically, can I carry two figures on the same turn but at different times? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank yas!
The flier must be adjacent to the carried figure at the start of the turn, you can only drop the figure at the end of your move. You can not pick up a figure in the middle of your move. Once you drop you carried figure, your move ends.
So no, you can not move on and pick up another figure, even if they are adjacent to you.
Aside from breakaway, the first part of a flyer's move must be picking up his passenger, and the last thing he does is drop that figure off. Really, dropping off the passenger signifies the end of your flyer's move.
For that reason, no one can taxi more than one figure in a move. Also, the flyer cannot continue to move after leaving the passenger behind.
