Hello everyone. JCorduroy and myself have taken a crack at making a Podcast based on basic Heroclix game strategy and team building. It's a lighthearted thing and we aren't the best players on earth but hopefully it gets you thinking about new ways to play our beloved game.
It can be found at this location but it should be up on iTunes soon.
We are just starting out in the podcast world and we're still refining our technique and learning the technical side of recording but we appreciate any comments, questions, suggestions, criticisms, pure internet troll hatred you'd like to give us. You can contact us via Twitter @pushtoregen or via email at pushtoregen.gmail.com or through the comments portion of the podcast page. Thanks.
I'd like to work on getting this podcast up in the RealmsRadio section along with ClixCast but I'll update this thread with new info until a better solution comes along.
Just realized that in the podcast I say Groot, Rocket Raccon, Jack Flag, the Scorpio Key, and the ATA is 300 points but that was before the ATA dropped a point. It's now a 297 point team. My bad.
I finished listening to the podcast, and it is AWESOME! I can't believe this is your first podcast because you guys sound like you've been doing it for hundreds of episodes. Its obvious that you guys are friends because it all sounds so natural. I love all the different segments, the "Common Fig" and "$3 Team" segments are genius. And its great that you have a DC and Marvel guy, so its balanced. And the email part was great too, don't leave it out. There weren't any low points of the podcast, everything was informative and entertaining. Just keep on doing it like you did.
If I had to offer one suggestion, it would be to edit the intro song a little different, its a cool song, but maybe fade it out a bit so you start talking over it, so it doesn't end so abruptly. I know that's real nit-picky, but that's honestly the only thing that you can improve on.
But way to go, this is going to be my new favorite tabletop gaming podcast. I can't wait for new episodes. Give us an RSS feed!
Thank you to everyone for your comments and feedback.
Feel free to email us at [email protected] with suggestions for discussion topics or for our Common Justice, Point/Counterpoint, Power Focus, and $3 Theme Team segments.
Exciting news! We should be searchable and accessible through iTunes within a couple days. If that's your preferred method of podcasting, make sure you comment and rate us on iTunes.
