Well things have got moving again in Adelaide.
Today we had an Infinity Gauntlet Battle for Adam Warlock at RH Gaming.
There were 7 players and it was a 300 point Hulk booster event played on the Soul World map.

I had great pulls from my two Boosters and finished with a team of

I had a bye in the first round.
My first match was against

Rick Jones

This was an epic battle in which the Wolverines took out Ka-Zar and Shanna. While Black Bolt blasted Rick Jones and Black Trantula. The Wolverines moved up and Black Bolt shot one down. Then it was shot for shot pushing to get the win. Black bolt who had pushed once before being based kept missing Wolverine and even rolled a critical miss.
Last plays were
- Wolvie pushes and hit, BB now on last click. Wolvie on regen click.
- BB rests
- Wolvie rests
- BB pulse waves for 5 damage.
It was a great game that came down to the wire.

Second Match was against

In this one Hulk Robot went after Shanna and Ka-Zar and after some super sense roll and good BCF'S they managed to take him down. Black Bolt perched on the elevated and shot the Leader and Marine to death.

Went 3-0 to claim an Adam Warlock.

Lucky pulls helped to win the day and I look forward to more Infinity Gauntlet fun in 2 weeks.

Yeah it has been great to get things really going again. Keef should get the credit for finding a venue to play at and this has helped to bring in new players and others that played but we didn't know about. We hope it keeps up and gets stronger.
Before this it was all home games really but we did have prize support which was nice.
I am looking forward to playing more often and with different people.

Okay we played on Saturday in a 400 point GG sealed

My team ended up being

This came out at a respectable 396.
I had some concerns with this team as I had no Power Cosmic and HSS while many of the teams around me did. The thing I did like is that I pulled a monster to work in with Mole Mans special. The team was solid with a couple move and attack figs in Nebula and Annihilation Seeker, and Prob with Doc and Outwit with Moley. Anyway on to the games.

This was a formidable team and I was worried with the pc/hss combos.
after 2 turns I had lost Nebula to Redshift and Silver Surfer.
Used Annihilation Seeker to I be mind controlled by MM to charge in and do 5 damage to Replica and then have an action to do another 3 thus taking her out. After some rest on both sides Redshift came in to hit Annihilation Seeker and missed and then still was in range for a charge through mind control and action attack. This took him out. The rest was my team tracking down the surfer and through Dr Stranges Psychic Blast/prob and multiple attacks I was able to KO him and get the win.

Annihilation seeker was great in this game with being able to be mind controlled therefore allowing him to have 2 attacks when needed. He did most of the damage.

This one I was pretty fortunate. Landing hits with Nebula and Doc Strange. Prob and outwit doing the job as well. Took all 3 without losing a fig.

Game 3
Came up against Thanos Chase (at 350) and Nova Corps Recruit
Used the mind control to take out the Nova Corps Recruit. I got hit a few times by Thanos but managed to base him and have Strange PB him from range until I KOed him.

Overall really happy with my team and how they went. Mole Man and Annihilation Seeker worked really well together. Strange didn't get hit all game (Mystics was a deterrent) Went 3-0 and picked up a Champion.

Look forward to playing more of these figs.

This week at RH Gaming is the 4th Infinity Gauntlet event.
It will be a 600 point battle using clix from Hulk and Galactic Guardians.
Look forward to seeing the teams that will be made from these 2 sets.

Had the battle for the Gardener this week and there were many great teams and figs used.

I wanted to try this team as I have fond memories of the story where Super Nova comes and attacks the Avengers. Anyway I digress...

This was a really enjoyable game. I had some great synergy happening through leadership and range combat. I managed to take out Shanna and Ka-Zar. While Thanos and Strange took out a Centurion and Super Nova. The team had been working on Thanos with range combat and enhancement boosts. In the dying minutes Thanos close to KO took out a Recruit while Strange had a shot at taking Nova Prime but missed. Last 30 secs Nova had a shot at Thanos and took him out and time was called. Could of swung either way on the last roll of the dice. Always a great way to finish a game.

Not much to say other than it was great to see one in action. Took a couple of turns to get close enough but managed to pulse wave with Nova Prime to do 3 damage to the big guy. The multiattack incapacitate thing was great. Like to have another go one day. Loss this round.

Lost 2 Centurions and a Recruit in this game. But managed to take out Wolverage first with Nova-Prime and then use pulse wave to take down Champion a few clixs. Managed to push Super Nova to his Hypersonic, taking out Hulk Robot on the way and then finishing of Champion for the win.

Went 2-1 and came third
Didn't pick up the Gardener but have a great appreciation of how the Nova Corps can work and really enjoyed it. Had a great fun day of play.

Thought I better update here as I haven't done it in a while.
Play still continues weekly at RH Gaming which is great to see. Most weeks there is an event going, if not it will be free play to come and try and have fun.This week we had a few games going finishing off with a battle royal. This was great fun and let me say Thanos (sr) is fantastic in this situation as when someone dies he heals!! That was until everyone worked it out and went after him.
New people have been taking up the game and this has increased the player base which has been excellent to see.

In 2 weeks time (30th of June) will be the next Infinity Gauntlet battle.
400 point Non Generic theme team.
It should be interesting to see what people bring to the table.

Some changes have happened over the last month down here and we have relocated where we play. We are still connected with RH Gaming but we now have a home at Keiths Kollectables and More in the Elizabeth North Shopping Centre.
