Hi there. I will be playing in a league game in a couple of weeks that is 500 point Golden age, but no cardboard. I know I want to play an Illuminati theme team, but I am very conflicted on which team to use. Here is my inventory:

Iron Man 188 & 202 points
SI Dr. Strange 149
MM Reed R. 100 & Mr. Fant. 100
SI Namor 150

I am about having fun, but I want the most competitive team, because I plan to use this team at a convention for prizes. I am afraid everyone will have gauntlets and etc. I guess I need to stand against Metron an NC. I just refuse to give into the pressure to build that team.

See if Namor can get the Gem for +1 Damage, and perma charge,ss. Then get a heavy, charge and flurry someone to make them cry. Charles is shooting through Namor for Penetraiting, also outwitting through him, or Dr. Strange, as he will be providing backup and a perplex for Namor, while reed provides a +2 perplex for Charles, or anyone who needs it and is in distance. Dr. Strange also has enhancment a bit later, can give to charles, and support and TK show up That bad part is illuminatie, like Avengers, while haven strong pieces, theey are expensive =(

More fire power i rekn with Iron man, however i would opt for the other team as u get more pieces, and perplexes. The main reason i dont include IH Black Bolt, while an awsome piece with the special pulsewave, unless you take alot of time to get awsome positioning, he requires TK to reallllllly slam them with it, and the only person in the lumi that has it that i can think of is IC Dr.Strange and he dont get it till mid dial. Bout all i can give u for competative ideas. I recomendt Namor as a staple, as for 150pts hes an awsome brick that can bring the pain. GSX Prof X for obviose reasons, and Dr. Strange, perplex, defend, 10 range, and LoF ignores ppl and stealth. Top 3 pieces to consider on Lumi team for me anyways

I discovered feats are okay, so I used the force above. This version of the Illuminati dominated. Everyone underestimated Dr. Strange. I moved Namor to the center of the map, and had Charles MC through Strange, and repositioned opposing figures next to Namor for his flurry with the dumpster. Namor knocked out Maelstrom with 12 points of damage during the first melee of the game.

Im glad it did well for you, and congrat on the domination. Dont get in namors face Most ppl would underestimate that Strange, as they are no doubt acustomed ot the SI monster, and see the 80 some pts mark and that hes from IC and scoff, and hey, plz ignore the strange, i like that
