Iowa State University. We were putting it to UCONN just a few minutes ago but have some how turned a 22 point lead into a 10 point lead at the half. I am starting to worry that this team is reverting to there play style when we were up by 10-12 on both Mizzou and Kansas and lost. Hopefully we channel the team that beat Kansas the second time around.

They got it done. Had a big enough lead that all they did was have to trade buckets. UConn had that one good run in them before the half, but that is all that was in the tank. ISU looked dominant throughout.
Was happy to see the win. Been a long time coming. UCONN has NBA level talent that would have been good if they could learn to work together. Jermey Lamb with that I am taking "my ball and going home" missed windmill dunk with 3 seconds left and no one on that side of the court pretty much describes there whole season. I am happy that Fred "The Mayor" Hoiberg is bringing the magic back to Hilton Coliseum.

I think that is UConn's biggest problem this year. They all saw Walker leave last year, now they all want to get paid. So it's a bunch of "me, me, me" instead of "team, team, team". Last year they were under the radar and came together at the right time. This year they just wanted to impress scouts. Jeremy Lamb highly included.
Every time I hear Hoiberg's name, I cannot help but think of Zoidberg from Futurama. Cracks me up every time.
I agree. K State looked decent yesterday and will be a very tough out for Syracuse. The Orange looked a step slow against an inferior opponent, K State has athletes. The recipe for disaster.
UK! I'm loving their bracket right now. Let's bring home number 8!
I am loving the bracket also. All those upsets giving me hope ISU can continue the trend and knock off your Wildcats.
Kind of funny listening to Coach Calipari talk about ISU. He gave us a lot of respect, more than anyone has given us all year ( even more than some of our fans). I definitely don't think he is looking past this game to a potential rematch with Indiana.
Really didn't think they'd beat the Irish but there you go. Because of Duke (who I really didn't think they'd do much) losing ...now Xavier gets Lehigh.
Good chance to get to the Sweet Sixteen again! Go Muskies!!!!!!!!!!
*And I'm officially on the Norfolk St. bandwagon. Where is Norfolk St, anyway?????
