THE SIZE I NEED TO BE: At the beginning of your turn, you may choose the Giant damage symbol or the Colossal damage symbol, Stranger possesses that combat symbol until your next turn.
It is my understanding that all traits are optional.
So if I choose Giant symbol, and then during my opponent's turn I option off his trait (similar to Skrull Yellow Jacket), can I then option it back on and still have the giant symbol? Or does it somehow "reset" and I would need to choose a symbol at the beginning of my turn?
I know "reset" isn't a term that is used in Heroclix rules, but I can't think of a better way to explain it. Thanks.
Your understanding is wrong. "Optional" no longer exists in Heroclix. If Stranger chooses another size, he has that size until his next turn no matter what. Fortunately he can choose to remain normal sized if need be.
I'm going to post this here since it's about the Stranger.
What if Stranger is equipped with the Gauntlet and he is on the Gauntlets "Apotheosis Approaching" or "Godhood Achieved" click, AND on his "Situation Power" (or whatever his click 2 power is called).
Does he get to choose 2 different powers or only 1 because they are similar game effects?

He gets to choose 2 powers.
Similar powers does not mean they are the same power.
If he has perplex showing on his dial, can I choose perplex with his special power, and be able to use perplex twice? Could I choose it once for his special power, and once for the gauntlet, and suddenly have perplex 3 times to use? Or does it not stack?
If I have his special power showing and I choose Outwit, I get attacked and hit for damage, then the special power is gone, then I am attacked again in the same turn, and get hit back onto my special power - do I have Outwit again? Would it mean that whatever I outwitted was outwitted again?

He could not, because Perplex is the same effect as Perplex.
From the Player's Guide:
Game effects which grant the use or possession of another game effect have no effect if the recipient can already use the new effect.

You would not have Outwit again, because the special power was lost and losing a power causes its effect to stop if the power has a specified duration, which the Stranger's power has.
You could always choose 'Earthbound' on his select a power clicks after you've selected 'Giant' or 'Colossal' to pull that maneuver (*and now that I think about it, it's a pretty sweet idea...)
EDIT: Now that I read it, it doesn't work, sadly. They're both beginning of your turn effects, so the timing is off. *sigh*

You could but that would be useless. They both must be declared at the beginning of your turn.

You could choose to be big, use Outwit or Perplex on a foe, and then choose Earthbound to shrink down again. Not super-effective, but it can be useful.
