Welcome to the Heroclix Fantasy Supremacy League, aka, the HCFSL.

The goal here is to create a side League for those of us who want to play in games with less of a time restriction/schedule, who finish their games too early, and/or just can't get enough of that sweet, sweet PbP lovin.


Le Quick Rules: For the most part, this will work as your everyday Supremacy League. There will be 4 levels of play (we're doing levels instead of rings, because we don't actually have any rings). You begin play on the first 'level', and each subsequent win earns you a bid to the next 'level' of play. Once you get to level 4, you must defend your spot 3 times in succession to win the whole thing.

If you win, you get to choose the next tournament format.

You also get to design a custom Heroclix figure to be made available in future HCSL games.

If you finish the tournament with the best record, you can design one game element for future HCSL games, including Relics, BFCs, Feats, ATAs and Special Objects.


Le Long Rules


For each run of the HCFSL, there will be one accepted scenario for every game. Whenever there is a 'winner' (i.e. someone who defends the top spot 3 times), we'll reset the point builds and scenario to brand new stuff.

After each tournament, we'll have a system of 'retiring figures'. A 'retired' figure is a figure that was a part of the team that won any of the previous 3 tournaments. So, in essence, if a Nightcrawler/Metron/Gauntlet Team wins our first tournament all out, you won't have to face any of those pieces for 3 more 'Seasons'.

First Tier

When you're in the first level, you have a few options. You may play any team you want that fits in the scenario. You cannot have less than 1 'FIGHT!' token if you're on the first level. You may issue a 'Challenge' to either someone else on the First Tier, or someone on the tier above you. Either way, if you win, you get bumped up to the second level. If you lose, no harm, you can't go lower than the first level.

Second and Third Tiers

Here you must use the team that you used to get into this level (or boosters). You may only issue challenges to someone on a level above you or on the same level as you, but you still may accept challenges from anyone who may legally issue one. If you lose on this level, you go down to the 1st level.

Fourth Tier

When you're on the 4th level, you cannot issue any challenges. You use the same team or boosters that you used on levels 2 and 3. To win the League, you must successfully vanquish 3 challengers in succession. If you lose one of those challenges, however, you will be sent to level 1, and get to start all over again.


Challenges/Reporting In: To keep this as easy for whomever runs this as possible, to issue a challenge you must post IN BOLD that you're challenging whomever you're challenging, and it must be 'accepted' in the same way. For instance:

TVK: I challenge Melkhor!

Melkhor: I accept TVK's Challenge!

See? Easy.

When your match is over, post IN BOLD the scores and players involved, and who moves where etc. For instance:

Melkhor beat TVK 1,000-5. Melkhor moves to level 2 and earns 1 fight token. TVK stays on level 1.

Step 1: Choose 4 "Carded Age" Full Sets i.e. (Amazing Spider-Man, Batman, Chaos War, Galactic Guardians, Incredible Hulk, Superman, Captain America, Giant Size X-Men, DC 75th, Halo, Web of Spider-Man, Brave and the Bold, Hammer of Thor, Arkham Asylum, Secret Invasion, Crisis, Monsters and Mutations, Justice League, Avengers). Super Boosters count as one booster.

Step 2: I'll post your randomized boosters.

Step 3: Select an opponent per the rules above.

Step 4: Create a 400pt team an play!

If you lose your fight, you can opt to get 4 new boosters, but you can't keep anything from the previous pull.

This is an idea I had, yes, a year ago but it's one that I think could still work. When I saw your post, I decided on a format.

The beauty of this idea is that it works with as little as two people. It'll take -forever- with just two people, but it'll work

This looks like a great idea TVK! I'm down for giving it a shot.
How about 2 ASM boosters, 1 Batman Booater and 1 Superman booster.

I would like to do it. I have always loved the Supremacy League format and thought it was a lot of fun at my old venue. My new one that I go to after I moved doesn't do supremacy league :/

Oh, and I saw the voting poll for which format, and I would put my hat in for a 400pt Golden Age. Or, we could change it up every month or so, but if you're challenging someone who is in the second/third tier you have to use whatever team format they're using.

I like the idea of varied formats...but since it had been a year without any votes, I opted to go 400 sealed (see post #2)

How would you do sealed without actually buying sealed boxes? Other than not needing anything because I already have a full collection, there's nowhere for me to get them. My venue doesn't keep backstock of old sets.

There are random booster generators, which simulates about the same thing.
