Today we continue our series of previews for the DC HeroClix: The Dark Knight Rises set by spotlighting a version of The Joker dressed in a stolen Gotham City police officer’s uniform. Please welcome The Joker (as Sgt.) from the film, The Dark Knight!
holy carp on the triple team abilities, which btw, gel beautifully. he can double carry w/underworld, granting a -1 to this allies' target's range DV while his trait gives them a useful police ta for him. plus the batman enemy can give that 11 out. very useful team player (which is funny considering he tends to kill his teammates)
Give him offense and support powers based on being at range, and then Plasticity and 3 Range? Seems like a mish-mash of random things thrown together onto a primarily blue dial. Some 1-color dials work: Silver, Brown, Yellow, etc. Blue does not, at least not with a 3 range. I'll never play this one.

Well, this one will kill his teammates too with that Mastermind power.
I think his range is an issue, but I am sure that there will be a few Underworld characters that will have greater range that will benefit from his SP and PD TA.
Upsides: three team abilities, will work great with ranged Batman Enemies. Great numbers, great powers, great trait.
Downsides: short range, short dial. Just shy of 80 points on a five deep dial? That's kinda scary. You're gonna need a cheap grunt with damage reducers for Mastermindedness.
But in the right hands he'll be dangerous. It's hard to say whether or not he'll be playable, because we don't know what kind of ranges other Batman Enemies have. Scarecrow could be a good blaster who works well with him.
ASK ME ONCE I’LL ANSWER TWICE JUST WHAT I KNOW I’LL TELL BECAUSE I WANNA!
SOUND DEVICE AND LOTS OF ICE I'LL SPELL MY NAME OUT LOUD BECAUSE I WANNA!
When did he dress as a cop? I guess it's been a while since I saw the movie an forgot more than I thought. Or is this a spoiler of a scene in the new movie?

"Slip Away Into the Crowd" does not scream Plasticity to me, it screams Stealth, as it probably should have been, as the Joker, in any of his incarnations, doesn't seem to be the grabby kind of guy. Likewise, "Hidden In Plain Sight" sounds like a Shape Change name more than a Mastermind name, which makes next to no sense on a character in disguise. He's an interesting character, but I think the power names and powers in general are just very sloppy. About the only thing he has going for him is the triple TAs and that dangerous precedent that it will be setting for future sets.
this figure makes no sense. first he has psy blast, in the movie he tries to shoot the mayor only for Gordon to jump in the way, and Gordon survived because of a bullet proof vest. Gordon lived, because in the movie the joker wasnt able to PENETRATE his vest, and wizkids just gave him psy blast. not to mention he has PD only because hes in a cop uniform. So if any character ever dresses like superman, they automatically gain his abilities, cool.
The three range is pretty accurate considering where he shot him (the mayor) from.
Psychic blast considering no one knew where he was gonna strike from. He is nearly impossible to catch throughout the whole movie which would explain the plasticity. I love this piece but I am a joker fan.

Remember that Plasticity also allows a character to break away on any roll except 1. For a guy who doesn't want to be based/tied up, it's a good power.

So here I go adding to Kaitouace's sig again, but he hit the nail on the head. FOOM is very playable.
Interesting "Gotham Underworld" keyword choice. I wonder if this is just a thing for the movie pieces, or if they're going to implement it on all new Gotham villains from here on?
