Many Arms of the Black Tarantula: Give Black Tarantula a double power action. Give him a close combat action as a free action and he may use Blades/Claws/Fangs. After that action resolves, he may automatically break away and move up to 2 squares and then may make a ranged combat attack.

If Black Tarantula moves adjacent to an opposing character with the second part of this special power, can he still make a ranged combat attack?
Barring some really specific corner cases, no. This special power does not gaurantee a ranged combat attack will take place; all this special power does is create an opportunity to make a ranged combat attack. Black Tarantula must still meet all the normal critera for making a ranged combat attack (drawing LOF, not adjacent to an opposing character, target within range).
