When you use mastermind on, say, a thug who has one click left. You mastermind 3 clicks of damage. Does the thug only take his one click and the masterminder take the other 2? or does the thug take them all?
When attempting to use support and a critical miss is rolled, do you take a click of damage. Also, if a critical hit is rolled, do you automatically heal another click?
Can pulsewave be used as against an adjacent target even if it is called a range attack? Ex. Kang on the MOE team using pulsewave with MOE ability.
And pulsewave can only be used when an attacker can legally do a ranged combat attack. If Kang is adjacent to another non-flying opposing figure then he can't. If the only adjacent opponents are flyers then he can.

Ok, thanks. Another question: When must perplex and outwit be stated? Is it only at the beginning of your turn? My friends and I have been playing that, say, on my opponent's turn he decides to shoot my Prof. X with his Cyclops. I would then say "I'm outwitting Cyclops's range combat expert and perplexing his damage down to 1." Is that correct?
One more question: If my range character is B2B with an enemy, does he have to attack that enemy, or can he use a range attack against some other figure that is farther away?

Perplex only works on your turn, so you can't use it on your opponent's turn.
Also, you have to declare the Outwit before your turn ends. It does last over your opponent's turn and ends when your next turn begins.
So taking both of these under consideration, you cannot do what you asked above.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.

Outwit and Perplex must be activated during your turn. Outwit lasts until the beginning of your next turn (unless your outwitter loses Outwit or is KOed). Perplex lasts until the end of your turn unless the perplexed figure is damaged or healed.

You have to deal with the person you are BtB with first. Once they are gone, then you can make a ranged attack on another figure.

You can attack another figure with a ranged attack if you have LOF to that figure. You can also use ranged attacks if either figure that is b2b is also a flier.
