I have been playing a lot of HCO lately due to the ease of getting HCO codes, and I am really enjoying the new Tony Stark/Mass Market Iron Man combo. I haven't tried him out with his Hobby Store counterpart yet (as I don't get to play in person ever), but I am really digging the front game Perplex with the AE into Running Shot/PsyBlast/Outwit combo. Very good team player/support piece turned into late game secondary attacker if you ask me. Also, I have not had any trouble getting him to the AE click, and I have only had him get 1-shotted post switch once.

Now that the mechanic has been tweaked fairly significantly (no push after switch, multiple options to switch to, etc.), who is your favorite AE and who do you think works the mechanic the best?

AVM's #209 Tony Stark to #205 Iron Man. Running shot PSB toughness AND outwit? ....uhm ok! Not to mention Tony's "It's mine you can't have it." ability. Best AE combo I have seen so far.

I love playing all-Alter Ego teams. I tend to start with Norman Osborn and Jason Blood. I also like GF Thunderbolt Ross, Ben Reilly, Rick Jones, John Jameson...

Rick jones is my fave alter ego. the +1 to att and def when becoming captain marvel is pretty great for 48 points. since he has multiple transformation option(genis-veil coming soon) and perplex it's easy to fit him on most team while being more effective than his point cost would suggest.

Rick Jones is my favorite AE. Being able to AE into Indomatible and PC is just awesome.

Gonna have to agree with the OP. so far that is my favorite AE in the game as well!! I have been able to use it to great effect so far.
