2) As the cross-time Herald reels from Steel's massive hammer blow, the Last Son of Krypton, fully basked in the rays of the bright Mediterranean sun unleashed a devastating, solar-powered blast on the weakened herald! Last Son shoots Harbinger. 11 (+1 from Kryptonian ATA) atk. vs 15 def. Needs a 3. Roll is: (2,2) for a 4 and barely a hit! Harbinger takes 3 and is KO'ed! 1 SA and 1 KO for the Last Son.

free) Steel quickly takes stock of the situation as the badly wounded Harbinger teleports herself out of the fight in a blindingly bright flash of light. Seeing the Kid menaced by a very serious looking Amazon he quickly fires off a rapid series of steel spikes at the Amazon's feet to distract her momentarily. Steel outwits the Amazon's Combat Reflexes

3) "Aww... c'mon babe, you're not really going make me *fight* you, are you? That'd be SO uncool!" The Kid throws a half-hearted and mostly playful punch at the anything but amused Amazon. 10 atk. vs 17 def. Needs a 7. Roll is: (1,6) for a 7 and just barely a hit! The Amazon takes 3. 1 SA for Connor and 1 AST for Steel as the Outwit was very much needed. You may chose to take the knockback from the attack if you wish. It won't affect the rest of my turn one way or the other.

free) "Yo! Robot dude, I totally GOT this, a'ight? How 'bout you watching your own shiny backside in this fight, huh?" The Kid offers some "sage" advice and perplexes Steel's Defence up to 18.

Roll is: (3,5) for an 8 and a hit! I assume Philipus will want to PC that. Second roll is: (2,4) for a 6 and just barely a hit! (Thank you Kid!). Steel's hammer strikes true with a sickening *crunch* crumbling amazonian armour like construction paper under a wrecking ball, dropping the mighty general of the Amazons with resounding authority!

I *really* had to consider this turn carefully. I really didn't want to push the Last Son off of that top click, and I had nightmares about just leaving Philipus on her PC and outwit click too, which would have left Artemis free to just fly in and brain the Last Son so I'm well aware of what a huge gamble that was! Can't tell you how relieved I was that Steel managed to finish the job, and how thankful I was for the perplex!
