I'm a HUGE Superman fan and when I see this dial it just makes me go "eh". I do like that it's a duo and that it can be TK'ed so you're going to get at least 9 damage from range, but seeing as it looks like they are suppose to be an up close beat stick I'm not that impressed. What really hurts are those last three clicks (no Indom no Duo no Flight)
I wish they would have had the Through the Sun at the START of the dial first three clicks then went to charge. I know they'll be able to do 8 with one of the new "big heavys" with EW but I'm always fearful of beatsticks like this getting the tar beat out of them on the way up to punch Mr. Luthhhhor
So let me get this straight... 1 Superman is 300 pts, but 2 Supermen are only 270? The 150 Superman can pretty much destroy this piece.
Yeah they are great if your opponent plays to your strengths, but one Outwit/powerful hit or Psy Blast they are down for the count. And they don't even have a full dial. 2 Supermen out in 9 clixs.. :(

You're ignoring the obvious fact that these guys are beasts. Think about it, in two turns, a fully powered 300 point superman can dish out ten clicks of damage. That's pretty good, but these guys can do 18 clicks worth of damage in two turns for thirty points less!! My only gripe about them is that they're going to be a con exclusive.
Wow, this is just... no. The IDEA of it is freakin awesome, but that's about it. For 270 points, but only 9 clicks? I don't care if it is Superman and Superman, for 270 points, I could use way better pieces. Hell, I'd bet that the 200 Point Man of Steel can take this guy out. He's more clicks, way less points, higher defence values, and has hypersonic. This is the one thing that makes me happy NOT to be at a convention. This piece is just plain bad.

I just remembered, this represents them more in their final fight with Superman Prime than in any other part of the story arc. It would stand to reason that they're weaker since they were fighting Superman Prime under the rays of a red sun and they were surrounded by Kryptonite.

Earth 1 and Earth 2 Superman together may be only 270, but the recent Superman set Superman isn't Earth 1 Superman, it's All Star Superman, who basically flew into the sun and was able to get supercharged and even more powerful.
That being said, I love this piece and I wish I could get one, they should scrap that stupid GenCon idea and make it a buy it by the box for the new DC set!

It's actually New Earth Superman and Earth 2 Superman. I also totally agree with you I love this piece and its potential, I think they're not getting enough credit though. An in your face 7 Exploit damage with a heavy object or 9 damage from a duo attack. Sure they can go down fast but they're doin' some damage before they do!

I think the best way to use them is to charge in and make an attack and if they take damage to land on their "Through The Sun" special they can then single out an opposing character.
Overall, I'm not impressed. Still, it's funny to imagine them flying through Master Mold, placing him, and then hitting him twice. Or anyone similarly large, really.
"It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak." "Prove you have the strength and courage to be free."
This is the one JSA figure I absolutely do NOT want. It's a literal one-shot scene that drives this whole character, and it doesn't seem like that was enough to warrant an entire figure based around it. The only difference between this and Sinestro Corps Batman is that this is based on a story, while SCB was speculation in an attempt to drive sales and fill out a keyword that really didn't need him. Just my $0.02.

Not sure that'd work since the power specifies "place into AN adjacent square" and since colossal pieces take up multiple squares, the wording t me implies it won't work... since you can't place a colossal into AN adjacent square
"A" is "A". And no matter what universe he's from, Luthor... is Luthor.
