This game will be more complicated than what's described there, as nearly everyone has some sort of 'special thing' about them. Doesn't mean everyone has a night power, but you never know...

The three of them finished their celebration and sat down to discuss what to do next.
“I think that went quite well” said the first, with a martini in his hand, “I don’t see the need to rush off so quickly.”
“You wouldn’t, would you?” said the shortest of them, as he glared at the first condescendingly, “however, if you lay off the drink for a couple hours, I’m sure you would realize that although we did well, our job is far from over.”
“What do you think?” said the first, looking at the third.
The third one said nothing; simply nodded his head in the direction of the second.
“That settles it, then. It is time to continue with phase two. And I know just the place.”

Vengeance. That was what it was all about. Wrongs had to be righted. Errors had to be corrected. Threats had to be eliminated. It was all about vengeance. And this was not the opinion of one, but rather several.

Money can buy anything. He was sure of it. Never before had he ever encountered a problem he couldn’t buy his way out of. With enough money, anything is possible. Power, knowledge... but those didn’t occur to him. It was allies he was after. Can money buy friendship?

The man in the expensive suit walked down the unassuming street. He looked out of place in the suit. Not the sort of article of clothing he was used to wearing, but his new job demanded it. He wasn’t exactly sure what he was expecting to find in this suburb. A client of some kind. All he knew was that he had received a message to meet the owner of the house. And what a house it was. As the man stood at the gate, he couldn’t help but think of several movies this reminded him of. He considered quoting one of them, but realized he was alone and decided it was best not to. He walked up to the door, and knocked.
The owner of the house had a nice smile. The man in the suit introduced himself and the owner graciously let him in.
“Can I offer you anything? I haven’t much at the moment, mind you. Haven’t been shopping in a while... but maybe a glass of water?”
“Um... no thank you. If we could just get to business. Harvey didn’t say why I was coming.”
“That’s probably because Harvey doesn’t know you are here.”
The man was taken aback.
“But, the message...”
“You received a message to come here,” said the owner “who says it came from Harvey? No. It was from me.”
“Okay...” said the man, a little hesitantly, “why?”
“To give you this” said the owner, as they produced a knife and plunged it into the man’s stomach.
“Was that really necessary?”
The owner turned around to see a familiar face had appeared in the door way.
“There must have been an easier way to do that.”
“Don’t be mad just because I started without you.”
“I’m not. I take it this means you have everything ready?”
“Oh, we are good to go. Don’t worry about us. And you?”
“Likewise. Well, I wish you good luck, then. Let the games begin.”

The three arrived in the town. Ready for phase two. But did they realize what they were truly stepping in to?

Night 0 is over.
Magnito is dead. He was Mike Ross (Town/Suits), young man with great knowledge that will no longer be of use.
I was oddly just wishing that Mags would include Harvey - or Donna - from "Suits" and then I read the write-up. You always manage to break my heart in these openings, Mags.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

How could a resist Mike? Every game always starts with the death of a "Michael" and I just found this new show where the main character is a Mike? No, as soon as I saw the first episode of Suits, I knew Mike would be my next Night 0.
One guy is a lawyer looking for an associate to boss around. Another happens to run into him and impresses him, gets hired even though he has no law degree. A quite excellent show.
Now I'm ticked that I'm not Harvey Spector. Oh well, still got a cool role and excited for a new game.
