Welcome to the first installation of HCRealms' Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock. This will be a 16 player, triple elimination tournament. What that means is that you are not out until you have lost three times.

In the second post, I have a seeded bracket. For the first round, all the seeds are given out randomly, but after that, you will fight for the seeds. Once a match is completed, the winner takes the higher seed while the loser takes the lower seed. This will continue until only the first seed remains and everyone else has lost three games.

You may wondering how to play Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock. Well, it is quite simple, but I have added a twist. Each round, the participating players will PM me one of the five options: Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, or Spock. Each option will beat two of the others, while it will also lose to two of the others.

Rock crushes Scissors
Rock smashes Lizard
Paper covers Rock
Paper disproves Spock
Scissors cuts Paper
Scissors decapitates Lizard
Lizard poisons Spock
Lizard eats Paper
Spock vaporizes Rock
Spock crushes Scissors

It helps to list them like this:

Rock
Spock
Paper
Lizard
Scissors

Each option loses to the next two while it beats the preceding two.

I mentioned that there is a twist, and here it is: you cannot send the same option again until you have used all of them. So if you use Spock first, you must use all other 4 before you can use Spock again. If you do use Spock for your sixth option, you must use all of the other 4 before you can use it for the third time. If you tie, you get to go again with the same opponent, but it is as if you have already used the option you tried (which also means you will get to use the option you tried sooner than you would if you had not tied).

Since you will be PMing me your call, this thread will be used by me specifically as a leaderboard. You guys can use it for whatever you see fit. This is not a mafia game and follows no mafia rules (this forum is just where the majority of people who like to play these kinds of games hang out).

If you have any questions, post them here and I will try to answer them in a timely manner. You may send your call as soon as I post the result from the preceding round.

For the first round seeds, I will just use the sign up list, so a first come first served if you will. The seeds will begin to swap around as lower seeds win. Just PM me your call and I will update the list as rounds finish.

It means that either I'm the 6th best team in a major conference. Or I had a bad year in that conference, but somehow won the postseason playoff, or I was an amazing Mid-Major team who won like 25 games.
