So if I equip Mr. Immortal with the Infinity Gauntlet and he dies what happens with the IG beyond your opponent scoring the points?

Does he come back with the IG?
If so does it reset?

The points for the IG won't be scored until Mr. Immortal is scored. "When assigned to a character, victory points are awarded for the resource in the same way that the character’s victory points are awarded."

And I would think as long as he came back, the IG would come back as well, on the same click as when he removed from the map.

Page 20 of the 2012 rulebook "Resources" section.

RB, page 20:

Resources are included in your force’s build total. Although resources may be assigned to a character, it does not change that character’s point value. When assigned to a character, victory points are awarded for the resource in the same way that the character’s victory points are awarded. A resource included in your force can’t be used by an opposing player, even if an assigned character becomes friendly to an opponent’s force during the game.

So if the IG is on Mr. Immortal:

Dying is What I Do Best!: When Mr. Immortal is KO'd, instead of being defeated remove him from the map, place a special terrain marker in the square he occupied and turn his dial to click #9. Other characters can't occupy the square with the special terrain marker. At the beginning of your turn, if Mr. Immortal is removed from the map in this way, heal him of 1 damage. When click #6 is revealed, remove the special terrain marker and place him in that square. Victory points are only awarded for Mr. Immortal if he is removed from the map at the end of the game.


Mr. Immortal is only scored (and thus the IG is only scored and removed from the game) if he is off the map when the game ends.

Nothing tells you to reset it. It stays where it is/was.

Yeppers. The best way to deal with all the aggro your IG wearer is gonna pull is to make him nigh unkillable
