If I don't pull one tonight in my brick, I will be buying one on evil-bay. Can't wait to run this them with Morlun. Hairball looks awesome, well done Neca
Wait..remove tokens from all characters with the animal keyword? This doesn't sound like it matters if they are adjacent or not. I MUST have this.
No, you still have to be adjacent to the characters to use Leadership, but it doesn't matter about the point value if they have the Animal and Pet Avenger's keyword. It's still bound to the rules regarding the Leadership power. If the power actually said 'remove all tokens', it would work like your saying. But it doesn't. It just says 'remove tokens'.
Love all the knockback powers reflecting hairball's kinetic field.....combined with the traditional lockjaw phasing transporter & toughness...a little perplex and leadership...very cool piece and pretty darn comic accurate...forced my friend to trade me his cause I was too impatient to wait for the one I bought on ebay
I think a lot of people are ignoring the potential for bounceback damage from these guys' two abilities. Keep in mind, the trait lets you knock an opponent back even if their attack misses.
Using them in enclosed maps or with someone with barrier could prove to deal a lot of unavoidable damage.

Fraid not. "When Lockjaw and Hairball attacks, they may choose to knock back a hit character 2 squares after actions resolve." So you do have to hit. You don't have to deal damage, though, so have fun pushing Imperv pieces around like so many chess pawns :)

no what he ment was the opponents attack. even if their attack misses lockjaw and hairball can knock the attacking character back. :)
You're right. I was looking at the trait, not the power. With the defense power, though, they have to succeed on a roll for super senses, and I believe (I could be wrong) that super senses only triggers when a character would otherwise be hit. So they would have to be hit.
No... full-dial STARRO just made new best friends. Ugggghhh.
Whether darkest stout, or lightest pale,
You bet I'll down this frothy ale.
For those whose beer is weak and stale,
Beware my glass, homebrewer's grail!!!

You are not wrong. They need to hit/be hit for their powers to take effect. No knock back for any misses (unless Super Senses caused the miss).
