Hey folks. This came up in a recent tournament of mine, and I couldn't figure out an appropriate ruling for it at the time. It came up in a game where my opponent (who had constructed a themed team to use against me) had taken one of his figures and carried another one of his figures in a turn. He then later attacked me using a third figure on his team, and that figure happened to be within range and line of fire of the carried friendly character of his from earlier (who, as the rules for the carry ability clearly state, can only do free actions for the remainder of the turn). However, the question I need answered is would it have been possible for his carried character to have used a themed team probability control to allow his attacking friendly character to reroll the attack roll he made against one of my figures? I know that probability control is normally a free action, but theme team PC's assign action tokens to the person who used them in a turn. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!
Yes, because Probability Control is not an action, even Theme Team Prob is still not an action.

So does that mean you can attack and theme prob with the same character on the same turn?
You can't attack and then theme team prob but you can theme team prob and then attack. This is because the rules say:
Quote
The character using Probability Control in this way:
• Must possess the keyword that establishes the theme of the force. • Must not have already taken a non-free action this turn.
• Must not be able to use Probability Control through another game effect.
• Must not have used Probability Control in this way earlier in the turn.
• Must be given an action token (this does not affect your Action Total for the turn).
