I have heard of a trick where a Hero with Charge and Superstrength can be Taxied in to close combat against an opposing Hero with Stealth hiding on a object, and then pickup the object and hit the opposing figure with that object.
I dont think if this is possible because a move action ends when a Hero becomes adjacent to an opposing Hero, and Charge Superstrength are both movement actions.
Well the person would have to make a Breakaway first. Before he can pick up the object. Since it requires a move action to pick up an object and to move. You need to roll a break away.
I'm pretty sure, although not 100% that as long as the taxi drops the figure off not adjacent to the target figure, and then the SS/Charge character moves the rest of the way in themselves they get to pick-up the object as part of their move.
Then smash them with it. As they are not done their action like a regular move.
Chracters without charge would have to end their turn when they came into base contact.
Chracters without charge, dropped adjacent to the target could roll breakaway and pick it up, but not do anything with it that turn. In which case why didn't they just smack the stealthed character instead?
So a Hero with both the above superpowers can if he makes a breakaway roll attack with the object on the same turn, but a figure without Charge but has Superstregth would take two more turns to be able to complete this trick.
But wait I've just thought what about a figure with L/C and Superstrength he ignores the other hero wih regards to move ment could he attack in the said manor after being taxied in.
I would like to agree with you on this but, I am not yet convinced about it, because a Hero Must end his movement when he enters a square adjacent to the opposing Hero. Would the movement part of Charge end before he picks up the object.
- Figure with Super-Strength only moving towards Batman:
These figures must end their movement when adjacent to Batman. They can't pick up the dumpster. Next turn, they must breakaway to pickup object. Next available turn they can use the object.
- Figure with Super-Strength & Running Shot/Charge moving towards Batman:
These figures must end their movement when adjacent to Batman. Charge figures can make a normal close combat attack (no LoF needed) but neither figure can pick up the dumpster. Next turn, they must breakaway to pick up object. This object can be used on this next turn.
- Figure with Super-Strength & Hypersonic moving towards Batman:
These figures can move adjacent to a stealthed figure, pick up the dumpster and clock Batman off the map. (HSS figure can keep moving if they want). This is only for the 'Hit and Run' HSS.
- Figure with Super-Strength & Phasing/LeapClimb moving towards Batman:
These figures can move adjacent to a stealthed figure & pick up the dumpster but cannot attack. Next turn they can attack as normal.
- Figure with Super-Strength only starting their turn adjacent to Batman:
These figures must roll breakaway when adjacent to Batman. If they make the roll they can pick up the dumpster but can't attack yet.
- Figure with Super-Strength & Running Shot/Charge starting their turn adjacent to Batman:
These figures must roll breakaway when adjacent to Batman. If they make the roll they can pick up the dumpster and attack to clock Batman off the map. Running Shot figures can now throw the dumpster at non-stealthed Batman if they're hovering; otherwise they need to back up a square & then throw the dumpster (grounded figures can't range attack adjacent grounded opponents).
- Figure with Super-Strength & Phasing/LeapClimb starting their turn adjacent to Batman:
These figures can pick up the dumpster but can't attack yet.
- Figure with Hypersonic and Super-Strength starting their turn adjacent to Batman:
These figures can pick up the dumpster and attack to clock Batman off the map. (They can move away afterwards, if they used the "hit & run" attack mode).
