With the players and owners disagreeing yet again looks like we might delay or lose the season.
I find it sad that something that WWII couldn't do, a labour dispute might twice in under 10 years.
As a Canadian this saddens and angers me that greed is getting in the way (both on the owners and players part) and the person that loses is the little guy like the bar owners and stuff.
I love Hockey. they will get a deal done. the nhl made 3.3 Billion last year. you really think the owers are going to walk away from that over the difference of 400 million please. they are just trying to put more money in there pockets before them have to crumble.
It's usually the thing that keeps me going through the Winter Bleeeccchhhhh. Now Bettman has announced a 2 Week 'break' from negotiations? W.T.F?!?!?!?! Ian White has the right of it, and I wish more players would say exactly what's on their mind, and how they really feel about that little troll. No more of this PC ########.

Well at least it looks like there might even possibly be a season after all. Need. My. Fix.
I tossed my interest out the window as soon as the lockout was official. Still feel that way...though laughing to myself just the same over Burke in the unemployment line again.

You misunderstand the hilarity of the situation......and make no mistake it is hilarious.
He's not unemployed........he's still their senior adviser.
Advising his old Assistant GM that replaces him (2nd time that's happened now) and who has publicly stated they are going to continue on the 'path to success' that they are currently on........I mean look at the results they've had.
Oh and Burke hired him of course.......and the rest of the staff/front office.
So recap time.
The team is completely assembled by Brian Burke.
The front office is completely assembled by Brian Burke.
The new GM is going to be advised by Brian Burke while continuing on the current plan..........of Brian Burke.
Good job Toronto...things will be sure to turn right around now.
You poor, poor bastiches.

It is almost upon us! Are you prepared for the Quarmageddon?
My partner at work is. I'll tell him you said 'hi'
Well, after getting off to an *ahem* less than stellar start, my Canucks appear to be back on track. And with, what appears to be, the best goaltending tandem in the league
